------------------------
The room is dark and filled with a sickly sweet scent, like dying roses. In the background music plays like the eerie sound of a soft siren's call. A lady reclines in an old Victorian arm chair. She is an elegant - if pale - lady. She laughs, but it is a dark sound filled with arrogance and long years of decadent life. Across from her sits a nervous man, He knows that he is in a place dangerous for both him and his very soul. The woman gestures for him to relax, showing hands covered with gem studded rings and bracelets. "Mr. Matthews, I have reviewed your request." She says with a voice ringing with darkness and death. "My clan will be glad to rid you of your.. problem" He begins to shift in his seat and stammer, "G-Good, I need him out of the way s-so I can advance my c-career". His voice shakes with a well placed fear as he talks to this woman. She gestures languorously again. He flinches as if she had pulled a sword from the very air. She laughs again, filling the room with that soul shaking sound. Matthews is unharmed as a young pale man dressed in a butler's attire approaches the woman. Without a word he offers her a glass of some red substance. Matthews pales as he realizes what it is. "Do not worry, for your most excellent reward, I will be glad to make sure you never have to worry about him again." She purrs evilly. A smile that strikes into his very heart appears on his face as she takes a sip from her crystal glass. "I can guarantee that." Her echoing laughter follows him as he is escorted outside, shaking. Guarantee... -------------- That's what I mean by vampire. I think it's a good idea. As for characters... I think The vampire lady might show up...

So for a character sheet, I suggest we do something similar to the one for the Evolutionist's Stone, but replace the superpowers section with a section that describes your character's species.
All hail the king of dunces! You best hold on, I'm opening up my mouth.

Okey dokey...sounds good, cuz I figured that we'd just do the abilities thing, with the exception of adding the 'weaknesses' section, but that idea you gave is much better...
As for storyline, here's a sample from a werewolf story I was thinking of writing...of course, some stuff was changed, but otherwise...here goes --------------------------------------------------------------------- The skies wept morbidly, leaving raindrops against the windowpane of the manor. Thunder rumbled in the distance, and lightning danced across the sky. Evan gripped his chest in dire pain, and doubled over, falling to the floor with a grimace on his face. He lay writhing in pitiful agony, calling out to no one, and cursing everyone. He hated his 'friends' for doing this to him. He had never cried so hard in his life, and his body was changing so apparently, he could practically feel his blood pumping. His heartbeat had nearly doubled, and his breath was getting shallow. In an instant, he could perceive every stimulus in the room. The light of the lamp was glaring and so hot on his eyes. The floor and the clothes he wore grated against his flesh, the pain ringing so clear in his mind, that he couldn't stand. The fly buzzing on the nightstand jarred his mind, barely letting him focus on his other many agonies. The taste of today's (and yesterday's) breakfast, lunch and dinner nearly made him ill as they were reintroduced to him brain, simultaneously. And worst of all, the smell of the smoke from the food he'd left burning in the kitchen assaulted his nose like tear gas. However, the worst was yet to come. And each progressive change would be worse than the last. First, his hair grew, sprouting now from places all over his body, into a canine fur coat; his fingernails and toenails sharpened until they were no longer human fingernails and toenails, but instead lupine claws. His ears shifted next, elongating, fanning out a little, and moving up near the top of his head. Then his nose elongated into a canine snout, wet and all. Next his teeth grew in size, turning into monstrous fangs, and his spinal cord grew new vertebrae until they formed a canine tail. His muscles tore all over his body, ripping his furry body out of his clothes and congealing into bigger biceps, bigger triceps, bigger pecs and much more defined abs. His fingers, his toes, his eyes, all now reminiscent of a wolf. yet the final change was much more profound. He lept up from the ground, straight from a supine position, and whipped his head to every side of him, sniffing the air curiously. He bounded to the windowpane, putting a pawlike hand to the window, and gazed deeply at the moon. Then, without provocation or inhibition, he let out a haunting howl, and burst through the window to be free of human constraint. Lowering down to all fours, the werewolf took off into the night to see what mischief he could get into. He was feeling awfully hungry...

Interesting..
Any ideas for some kind of plot? I mean a big one for whole thing to revolve around. Like how the other RP revolves around them trying to take out the overlords.

I've been trying to think of that...I mean, the only thing I've come up with so far is someone trying to out the supernatural creatures, but I'm thinking an especially-deceptive rakshasa or something could easily take out a human that deosn't know how to mind their own business...
It must be something much more complex than that. Perhaps they want to find a way to get rid of them, turn them human or enslave them...(though, not so much the last one...enslaving seems a bit far) maybe they want to use one of the magical species (Fairies, Pixies, Fey, etc.) to gain access to the world from which they come, one that is WAY bigger (twice the size of Jupiter to be exact) and much more full of resources than earth...a planet called CELADON (for those of you who read about it in that fictional races thread)???

OR, the story is about the people and things that live in both the mythical and the mortal spheres of influence--the people who get the dirty work that both worlds kind of refuse.

what exactly could go on in the natural and supernatural spheres of existence that neither world would accept? WOW...that's gotta be some freaky crap!
hm...perhaps forbidden magic, or rare objects that have weird properties? I HAVE NO IDEA...my magic dealings are kinda few and far between, I'm more familiar with supers than spells and such...

Hmm.. Interesting..
Things like assassinations? Mind warping love potions? Elixirs of Immortality crafted with horrific cost? Or other things.. Like a corrupt politician hiring a few vampires to get rid of someone and in return looking the other way at a few other crimes.. Criminals paying a witch or wizard to reshape their faces and bodies to let the go unrecognized? A millionaire giving a succubus a fresh supply of young men to drain life out of, in return for some of a certain kind of favors. Interesting ideas. Anti-heros and true villains would be interesting to play.

yeah, corrupt people collaborating with supernatural villains and anti-heroes...
a brothel of vampire, succubus and nymph prostitutes, run by a witch madame... a vampire mafia (or rival werewolf/vampire gangs)... psychic warfare... bookstore that serves as a cover for a witches' covers... a drug trade that peddles magical potions, charms, and extremely powerful drugs... OH, MY...my mind-juices are flowing, now... FAIRY assassins, GOBLIN thieves, OGRE thugs, TROLL smugglers... and maybe a crime boss who goes conveniently by "the Boogeyman"...

I'm writing any of these for this one in an "In-Universe" style. Like as if a government agency made files for them.
This is the vampiress in my first thing.

===Character===
Name- Dajai Djinn-Zetsuei Nick Name/Alias- DDZ (for those who know his real name), DJ, Dodger Jim Zachary, Dodgy, Dodge =Appearance= Height- 6'0 Weight- 162 lbs. Gender- Male Chronological Age- over 100 (exactly HOW MUCH over is unknown) Biological Age- early 20's Skin Color- (True Form) Light bluish-purple; (Human Form) Tan Eye Color- (True Form) Dark Purple; (Human Form) Hazel Hair Color- (True Form) White, straight, shoulder-length; (Human Form) Dark Brown, short Species- Djinn Other- Data was made using known friend accounts; his name comes from his father's name, the King of the Djinni, Djinn Zetsuei (similar to Scandinavian cultures, ex: Erik's son, Leif Eriksson; he is the son of Djinn Zetsuei, Dajai Djinn-Zetsuei) =Psychology= Likes- magic, magical beings (not just supernatural beings; those with actual magical powers), mythology (and legend and folklore), demonology, angelology, eating (soul food, junk food and exotic food, especially Middle Eastern) Dislikes- magic haters, dealing with non-Djinni when he doesn't have to, not using magic, people who can resist or counteract his powers, swimming, Phobias- holy symbols, exorcism, closed spaces, oil lamps Personality- Smart, aloof and philosophical, he often comes off as being standoffish and arrogant; though, the truth is, he simply doesn't understand humans. Although he grew up around humans, his nature is that of a djinn (with both parents being djinni; his father the King of Djinni, Djinn Zetsuei, and his mother one of the King's harem), so his psychology naturally devloped into one that is put off by human behavior. Although he can socialize relatively well when the time calls for it, he isn't known for initiating conversation; often won't say anything to people around him unless someone else initiates it. =Skills= Knowledge- demonology, some angelology, various myths, legends and folklores from numerous races and cultures around the world (and mythological, legendary, folkloric and cryptozoological creatures), Genius-level intelligence, speaks fluent Goblin, Elfin, Fay, Janna (the language of the Djinni) and three human languages (Spanish, French and English) Skills- diplomacy (has had lessons from his father's advisors), research, strategy (especially strategy games, like chess), solving riddles, lying, being sneaky, picking up on new magic (a bit of a prodigy), fighting, handling various weapons (blades mostly, and a few exotic weapons), parkour Nonskills- terrible shot with a gun, can't cook for crap, doesn't know how to open up to others, befriending children and animals (only magical animals react to him normally) =Species= Djinn. Djinni are magical and clever beings, known throughout the world, through history to outsmart, dominate and dislike humans in most every capacity. Only by trapping, exorcising or tricking them, can one expect any good to come from interaction with them (otherwise, they tend to either be neutral, with a tendency to stick to their own race, or they try to trick, dominate or harm others). Because of their closeness in mentality to demons, few will ever encounter one with good intentions (that isn't a half-breed), and even fewer actually prefer the company of mortals (especially humans). Powers and Abilities. *Magic- Djinni can perform various magical feats, such as magical shapeshifting, dimensional travel, time travel, matter transmutation and summoning; Dajai isn't as skilled as the high priests of Djinn society, but his shapeshifting is pretty proficient, despite being on a time limit; he can jump to alternate dimensions, and up to a year in the past, and other magical abilities are likewise in capacity; about intermediate in strength; he can also sense magical occurences and sources of magic *Aerokinesis- Djinni have the natural power to assume elemental control over wind; they can generate gusts, fly, and blast foes with gale force; Dajai isn't exactly Aang when it comes to Air Manipulation, but he is pretty skilled (and creative) in its use *Imperceptibility- Due to their spiritual nature, Djinni have the natural ability to hide from the sensual perception of natural beings; with this power, Dajai can become invisible (on all bands of light), intangible (for as long as he can hold his breath), inaudible (to move around silently, and be immune to sonic attacks), inodorosity (to lose one's natural scent, which in his case, is reminiscent of cinnamon and brimstone) and insipidity (in case anybody can somehow TASTE his presence) *Bodily Possession- In congruity with the power to become imperceptible, Djinni also possess the ability to take possession of one subject at a time, by physically phasing into the desired subject's body, and aligning his neuroprocesses to the subjects, and using theirs to override that of the subject; Dajai is not very skilled in this; doing this tires him out greatly *Sin Sense- As an infernal race, alongside the ranks of demons and other infernal beings, Djinni can psychically (and using the senses) pick up on the very presence of sin and iniquity; Dajai can even use this to identify presences (by perceiving which sin is strongest in a particular person, and what variation of a particular sin is most common Weaknesses. *Holy Symbols- Although they'd more likely just slap them away than recoil from them "Nosferatu-style", Djinni cannot really stand the presence of holy symbols without eventually becoming physically ill, or feeling the strong urge to leave the area *Exorcism- A holy person of nearly any kind can attempt to banish his presence from an area, meaning that if he is IN that area he will feel the strongest urge to leave the area, and if he ISN'T in that area, he will be physically unable to enter it *Trapping and Wish Granting- a powerful-enough mage or holy man (even a team of mages or holy men) can attempt to trap a Djinn's presence within a container, from a wine bottle, to an oil lamp, to a jewel (for those of you who remember the movie Wishmaster); whoever would release him would be owed wishes (the number of which is 1, 3, 5 or 7, depending on how powerful the Djinn is; because of Dajai's power, which is fairly low on the power scale, he would have to grant 5 wishes; fortunately he has never been imprisoned) *Djinn Hierarchy- Djinni, due to their similarity to demons in psychology, have a hierarchy to which they adhere austerely; typical Djinni (called simply Djinni) are of the Wind element, stronger and smarter than Ghuls, which belong to the Earth element (the lowest on the "food chain"); Efreeti are of the Fire element, stronger, but less clever, while Marid (of the Water element) are smarter and more arrogant, but don't occur in as many numbers; Dajai is a typical Djinn ==Possessions== Halo- A round, silver halo that serves as the crown of the King of the Djinni; Because he is only the Prince of the Djinni (and not king), he can't wear it without being weighed down by its tremendous power, so instead Dajai uses this to do magic on, doubling it often as a weapon or a scrying device Wizard's Robe- A robe that djinni often wear to enhance their magical capabilities; only wears this at home Celebrity Claim: Chris Riggi (again)
