Excuse me, how would I go about joining any of these. There don't seem to be any posted rules about that.

That's because there aren't really any set rules for joining an RP. Basically, just find an RP you would like to join and ask if you can participate it that RP's comments thread. You'll notice that most RP's will have two threads. One for out of character comments and one for the in character comments. However, some RPs have not yet begun and are still in the planning stages.

Just wanted to add a possible RP----won't do anything with it just want to post it here to see opinions.

Badass Normal RP

No superpowers---well there may be some exceptions--maybe a lot

At least nothing that can't be explained in real life terms.

Story: Everyone is a badass normal and they are all hired to kill another badass normal

All of them are paid 1,000,000 dollars upfront and can use it in any way they want---if one player kills all the other characters then they can get any wish they want

However, the characters can also decide to take out the employer syndicate---who have genuine superhumans in their employ

One person will be the host player and plays the badass normal head of the syndicate, all the other players are badass normals.

You can make your character as awesome as you can in real life terms

For example, you can make them by default extremely rich--as a power.
You can possibly make them geniuses in their field.
Martial artists are allowed---but no obviously impossible stunts,
You can make experienced soldiers and pilots, olympic athletes even.
You can also opt to make them detectives to track the other badass normals better.
Robotic limbs and prothesis are allowed---but has to have real life deficiencies like delay time or necessity to lubricate etc.


Of course you can't make them skilled in everything and if they are rich there must be a perfectly reasonable explanation for them being rich.

Cooperation is allowed but will possibly draw out superhuman spies from the syndicate player.
