So the goal of this is to get people to send their characters through a set of battles or at least challenges and see who does it best?

Is there a prize or something we have to offer?

Each round two competitors are pitted against each other, often the judges will set a requirement for the round or a challenge, but what happens is essentially up to the artists. The entries are judged on artistic skill, storytelling, adherence to character history and personality, ingenuity, readability and a myriad of other aspects. the winner's becomes cannon and the story continues.

Most OCTs offer a prize, yes. Typically its in the form of free commissions from associated artists. Sometimes people donate points to a pool that goes to the winner. The Super Money Island OCT is currently offering a $50 reward.

However, a reward isn't necessary, but it does provide incentive.

Well we have a couple of ideas to draw from already. An Spl Theme / NB Theme / LoC Theme / Elemental Planes Theme / Etc or we could try something new as well.

I'm not sure what we could offer except maybe you doing art for the winner, but if people don't mind joining in just for the fun of it, it could work.

I'm sure I could whip up some donation from a few friends as well. They may be willing to provide rewards.

Oh no I'd be fine making a new character because I forgot some of the things I planned on doing with Sally.

I've joined in on this Empire building game that seems pretty interesting. Each round lasts two weeks and you're allowed to make updates to your kingdom based on a bunch of rules. I tried making a kingdom that filled a different theme than the already existing kingdoms.

I made the Caramel Kingdom.



I have the amusement park kingdom (Or I will as soon as I have enough technologies. For now I'm the carnival kingdom). I get to design out different landmarks and major resources that my kingdom has access to. I then can spend actions each round to build up my stats to be high enough to for example create a new major technology for the world.

I intend to make a comeback soon. I just have to have some activity to feed off of. When you guys are around, and we're collaborating on the same project, it's very encouraging.
