It's fine, to be honest. I'd just like to make sure it was no error or shortcoming on my part.
If it's simply a matter of time and availability (rather than much worse, such as disinterest or outright boredom), then I'm fine. I can't make you like something you dislike. But I can wait for it to be the right time, if you have a generally favorable opinion of it, otherwise.

The story is still a little confusing for me but if it got some momentum I think I would like playing.
I've been waiting for people to post in a lot of the RPs but it seems that it is my turn in ESRP. I thought I had already posted in it like the others so I had been waiting for something new to happen.
Romans 8:31 What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us?
1 Corinthians 13:1-3 If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing. |

I'm still sort of vague about what confuses you. Maybe elaborate on that, so I can answer any questions, comments and concerns...
As for the posting in other RPs, I can certainly get on that. I was thinking to get back to LOC, as well as Apocalypse and even a couple others whose names currently elude me. I've really just been caught up with school work, and the SPL Facebook page, which keep me from posting regularly in threads which require much consideration (ie story threads).

Yes, I'm quite aware.
Though, really, if anything is the issue now, the Forum has come to all but a halt. Folks take a couple days to post and respond to anything, including myself at times. If you wanted to keep up with ESRP at the moment, you could, with ease.

I was waiting for everyone to respond so we could go to where ever we're going.

If this is an ill-timed post, please forgive me. I, too, have noticed a lull in activity in the forum. I know you guys have LOTS of irons in the fire here, but the Loot Dungeon has awakened a long dormant passion of mine and I'm hungry for more. I'm anxiously awaiting progress in that campaign. Since it's started I've crossed a new threshold - I actually check the forum before logging onto the main SPL site. A first for me. Is there anything I can do to help the adventure along?
I know Mik and Wulf have had to deal with personal tragedies recently, which is perfectly understandable. I just hope that I haven't been an impediment to the progress. If I'm speaking out of turn here, please feel free to call me on it.

Dang it...
I didn't want this to happen. The RPs seem almost like they're becoming a job or a chore, where you guys 'have to' post. I really thought I had the right idea this time. I was trying to make sure that things were interesting, and that the setting was clear in-story, and that the idea for progress was clear out-of-story. If I'm wrong, somebody please let me know. I don't want to make this feel scripted, and I don't want to repeat the last story verbatim (some major points, I'd like to keep, but even those are negotiable). I wanted you guys to be able to join in on the Forum's first RP, done right, and followed through to completion, this time. But it still seems like a scramble. As though nobody's feeling confident enough to act without my direction. *sigh* Let me see if I can't put some machinations into order to give you guys a better idea of what I had in mind...If I can help it, my efforts will finally reduce confusion and uncertainty to a minimum.

Nobody else post in the ESRP Reboot thread just yet.
I need time to make two quick posts, and a couple rearrangements. Won't take more than five minutes.

I just know that you have a lot of the world already written out that I know nothing about so I don't really feel confident acting in it some times, like I'm having to guess if I'm acting in a way that would make sense for the world.
Like in the last post, I don't know what the Controller's buses are so I'm just assuming its a choice of waiting and teleporting or taking the bus.
Romans 8:31 What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us?
1 Corinthians 13:1-3 If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. Phi, it's a dangerous world. That much can be assumed. You can't really trust much of anybody, except your close friends (us).
Even the other good guys that come along--Cookie Davis, for example. She's like The Doctor. Very clever, stronger than she looks, and capable of immense good. But, like The Doctor lies, she keeps secrets. Assume that everything is shady. As for the choice of the buses, it's pretty straightforward; risk your life on the buses (which have direct connects to The Controller's influence), or lie low for the night. Now, please excuse me, while I adjust the times of the posts yet again, due to your (most welcome) addition to the story.

Okay, so I've gotten a bit more interaction from two of the characters.
That's good enough for the moment. Not everybody HAS to chime in, at this time. Now, I just need to finish the interaction with GV, and then I'll skip to morning for you guys, and we can move on. I was hoping it wouldn't take this much time and effort to move into Arizona (especially since Gorak is, like, just a sort of literary tutorial for you guys to get the feel of the kind of world we're living in), but if this is what it takes, then I'll try my best to be game. I'll try to keep in mind that you guys are still getting used to this setting, and that you also have your own business to attend to, outside of the Forum. It shouldn't be much of an effort to keep the story-progression possibilities flexible.

I'll make sure I explicitly let you guys know.
No need to have you guys confused and guessing.

How can we get people to focus back on the Rps again?
LoC and Apocalypse RP haven't been touched in awhile but there should be plenty of opportunities for people to take some actions with their characters.
Romans 8:31 What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us?
1 Corinthians 13:1-3 If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. I've been avoiding that because of shame.

I've been trying to keep my storylines simple (ie Jissei working with Stohlen, the Angels investigating the mischief on Boquabia, etc), but I keep forgetting, and then coming back, only to see that pages of other things have happened to overshadow my ideas. And on top of that, I forget where I planned on going with my stuff, anyhow.
Would anybody be too terribly off-put if we re-approached this thread somehow? I mean, really, we don't seem to be doing a great job at accomplishing anything of importance. Not even really building up any mythos. I think it's because we've been focusing too much on peaceful interaction, and not enough on folks transgressing against the gods and nature and society, and not enough on the gods having their own agendas which conflict with one another, and not enough on other actual purposeful interactions.
