I swing my sword in a great arc at the imp...power courses through my blades as it swings.

The Imp is a bit surprised by the attack.

Mostly because he had never meet any mortal that just charged at him.

However, it was not surprised enough to allow itself to be injured.

The Imp swerved and leapt over the charging mercenary swiping him in the face with It's long spiky tail as it did.  With a bounce, it turned to attack him from behind.

Once again, green magic flowed from the Imp's hand.

The knife flies straight at the Imp, who is momentarily distracted by the flow of magic.

The flying knife strikes the Imp, going deep into the creature's skinny arm. The green magic abruptly vanishes into a spiral of harmless sparks.

The Imp screeches and tries to backpedal away from the Mercenary.

"Rory Walker, blasting off again!!!" Rory wailed in pain, flying back into the bushes in dire pain. He picked himself up, but would need a couple seconds to recover.

The Imp is to distracted to notice Jase coming towards it, and is soon stuck flailing under the fighter.

I struggle to get a clear shot as the others constantly move around the rampaging imp.
Romans 8:31 What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us?

1 Corinthians 13:1-3 If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.

(I'm in hiding across the map  but ok)

The warrior jumps back from the imp, and within a single moment an arrow lodge's itself into the imp's skin. The effect of the wound was yet to be seen though.

Rory pulls himself up from the bushes, and decides to stay incognito among the foliage. He readies a handful of throwing knives, each blade coated in Hydra venom.

The Imp shuddered as the arrow pierced it's skin and began to move shakily around. It was not made to take this kind of a abuse after all, Stealth and agility were it's forte not being beaten on..

With a screech, the Imp ripped the arrow and the dagger from it's body. Eyes narrowed as it surveyed the warriors and came to it's decision.

It spoke a guttural word and made a jerking motion. A dazzling shower of sparks enveloped it.

While the heroes were blinded by the sparkly lights, the Imp made an unsteady break for it- heading for the nearest ruin to hide, rest and recover.

With the imp out of my sights I decide to run over and rejoin the group.

"We need to move team, that imp isn't dead yet and the reinforcements are preparing. Marv, come here, take a look at these items I found within the ruins."
