The Mini-Adventure!

I gather up my scrolls and spellbooks and put them in my bag before picking through the swords, examining them for enchantments.

"......Anyone want to trade? " I pocket a few of the jemstones and jewelry that look slightly arcane.

[Marvelous Miscreant]

"That could buy me the best blade money can buy."

[Mik_Hael]

"Eh fine, I guess i'll keep it then, I can use it to reinforce my guitar with a few enchantments." I pocket the rest of the treasure.

[Zaleramancer]

(The swords, right?)

You see that several of the swords have varying degrees of magic, one in particular shines out.

(I'll let you decide what it does, because quite frankly, I'm to sleepy to think of anything interesting.)

I scan the area for any other staffs, instruments, or tools that seem usefull.]

(Does my staff do anything? Other than providing extra support and balance when crossing rough terrain-.-)

Other than the demonic effigies, all you see is another rather battered staff and a crystal bowl of some kind on a shelf.

The blade seems to deflect magical spells...

"Meh, If it's not any good I can still probably hock it at the bazaar." I pick up the staff and approach the crystal bowl, tapping it tentatively with the tip of my staff.

(I took the Liberty of grabing he effigies before I opened the chest. .....by the way, where is my imp? "

[Zaleramancer]

(Imp? You mean the other demon?)

[Mik_Hael]

(Yes, I wan't to make sure that I banish the thing and that it didn't turn into a giant grotesque monster after eating the corpses of humans, I ordered it to self terminate just before the time limit if it didn't report back so...)

I take the crystal bowl, it's probably a scrying device.

(By the way, I can keep the other staff right?)

(I think I'll turn in after this.)

A shuffling noise interrupts everyone's pillaging, and they turn to see .. Scurros's demon..

The thin and starved look is gone, to be replaced by a bloated and satisfied looking demon.

"Me is back to be dismissed." The demon said in a sing-song voice.

[Mik_Hael]

I quickly utter the Dismissal spell.

( If the spell is different from demon to demon, I immediately ask what his is and say it after he tells me -\/-

The demon bows and is gone.

[Mik_Hael]

"Great. Anyone mind if I open the rest of these?"

[Marvelous Miscreant]

'I don't think we have time. We have cultists to stop."

[Mik_Hael]

I glance at the treasure chests "...yeah, If you want to go ahead I'll catch up, there might be something in one of these that'll help us take them down." If no one objects I begin to open the rests of the chests and loot the room.

"I've got what I need. I don't trust to leave these cultists alone for much longer."
