Gain Domain: You may gain an additional domain by using this power after spending five motes on actions related to that domain, such as gaining the Forest domain after spending points creating a forest(1), filling it with animals(1), blessing it(1) and creating a demi-god to defend it(2). Gain domain never counts for the purpose of expending points to gain domains.

So, does this mean that it takes 8 points total to gain a domain? As in, spend 5 points on domain, then 3 to make it official.
