Asoka: "Great. Your name means 'Extremely difficult alongside kimono sash child?' How did you ever end up wiith such a horrible name?"

Mamika: "Now, now, Yamata-kouhai. It's not that bad. It could be Monkutare."

Asoka: "Yeah, you're right. I wonder when this speech is going to be given."

Mamika: "Probably soon."

The two turned back to the podium awaiting the headmaster's speech.

[Philote]

I grab some exotic looking food and follow Zane to his table.

"right o lets see what he has to say" looks excitedly up to the podium

[Celadon's Penultimate]

"Woo, yeah, food..."  Wulf chuckled to himself as he piled on the goodies. As he put the last piece of food onto his plate, he looked around to see who he could sit with. Hopefully a familiar face.

He spotted a table and headed for it.

(Whoever wants me to sit with them...)

[Marvelous Miscreant]

The lights around the hall suddenly dim themselves while a magical spotlight brightens up the podium. A low hum fills the air.

With a flash of light and smoke a tall pillar of slowly swirling energies forms behind the podium. As the energies swirl about they give of a warm glow. Several sparks detach from the spiral and form floating runic symbols.

Just as quickly as they had come the energies quickly condensed and formed into a human figure. The figure dimmed and the Headmaster was revealed.

"...and that students....is how you make an entrance!"

[Gentleman Vaultboy]

"Oh, Mr. Wulf," You hear a shout and see Billy waving you over with what appears to be a kiwi,"There's a seat free over here."

Claps excitedly from the back of the room "BRAVO! DO IT AGAIN!" i shout from the back

[Celadon's Penultimate]

 *Sigh* "Oh, sure, why not..." Wulf decides, and walks with Billy over to his table.

[Gentleman Vaultboy]

 "Nice Pile, Mr. Wulf," Billy whispers as the headmaster makes his entrance, "I trust you're settling in well?"

[Tsubasa & Wen Tien]

Asoka starts to do a silent meditation technique to calm down. That fool Obito probably didn't realize that such a display was both a waste of lots of mana and made it easier for assassins to discern who was important and possibly who to kill. She wanted to punch Obito but kept herself calm and watched the headmaster.

looks over at Asoka and calms down at seeing her anger before siting down and saying "im sorry Asoka if i cause you any anger or agitation" sounding dead serious and loosing all playfulness

"Alrighty boys and girls...Welcome to your dinner and a show. It's your first night here so enjoy it. No classes until tomorrow and all that. After dinner you're free to explore the college until lights out. But first...the Upperclass Illusion Students have put together a little something for tonight's entertainment."

[Celadon's Penultimate]

"If you call rude, obnoxious roommates and sucking at my tryout lesson 'settling in well', then yes. Yes I am."

[Tsubasa & Wen Tien]

Asoka's thoughts: *Probably going to be boring. Nothing's better than the real thing.*

Asoka stares at the stage waiting for the 'show' to start.

[Gentleman Vaultboy]

"On the contrary, Mr.Wulf, what you did in the tryout was very impressive. Maybe not in terms of finesse, but you put out a lot of raw power."

"I am sorry about the roommates though."

He bit into a mango and looked toward the stage at the mention of a show.

becomes happy and giddy waiting for the show to start and turns to our table " I think this may be cool"

"Ooh! Dinner and a show! I wanna see!"

The Illusion students take the stage and begin their show. They create fantastical light shows and brilliant animal illusion to tell an amazing fantasy tale in the air above the tables.

Billy ooos and ahhhs with everyone else. He happily finishes his first tower of food while watching a knight and a pirate lord dual to the death on his very table. The illusions are so real, he can almost smell the grog on the scallywags breath.
