[Philote]

"Greg, I'll pass out those room keys for you, you seem too distracted." I say as I grab an upperclassman key for myself.

[Marvelous Miscreant]

"Well, here we are...the Phoenix Wing." The dorm is a huge circular room with several door along the walls. In the center is a large fire pit in which a young phoenix is taking a nap.

[Marvelous Miscreant]

"Hmmm....uh yeah....That's fine. I'll just be ...um....yeah"

[Gentleman Vaultboy]

At this, a grin spreads wide over Billy's face. He spends several moment internally GEEKING OUT over the craftsmanship of the coffin, then waits for Bones to show him to the sleeping quarters. While he waits, he looks around the room to see what's in it.

[Philote]

"Good, Good"

"It looks like the Shield wing is right around this corner, anything you would like to inform me of.......if you can remember?"

[Tsubasa & Wen Tien]

Asoka whistles.

Asoka: "Nice. I can see why it's called Phoenix Wing now. So how powerful is your magic exactly, Yuka-senpai?"

[Marvelous Miscreant]

"Yeah...don't touch the wards..."

As the students enter the Shield wing they see what Greg is talking about. The center of the wing glows from several glowing and overlapping wards in which a small sprite is trapped.

[Philote]

"Oh!"  "I can feel the power from that all the way over here, why is it inside the wards?"

[Marvelous Miscreant]

"Powerful enough to secure my place as the second highest ranking member. Now your room is over there. Dinner's at 6."

[Marvelous Miscreant]

"I think....yeah...That little bugger is both our mascot and it provides power to the Colleges main wards."

[Philote]

I take a moment just to admire the complexity of the wards in front of me.

Looking away for a moment. "Greg, what time does everyone's first class start?"

[Marvelous Miscreant]

"Alright, fish...the first year rooms are over there. Make yourself at home. Dinner is at 6 in the grand hall."

[Celadon's Penultimate]

 "Jupiter's Jockstrap, this is a frackin' awesome wing!"

Wulf says to himself, walking down the hall. The Storm Wing is decorated in sky blue and cloud gray, with an artificial sky cast onto the ceiling.

Pictures of various sky and weather gods decorate every wall. Zeus the Thunderer, his Roman counterpart Jupiter, Astrape, Bronte, Ouranos, Saturn, Uranus, Urania the muse of Astronomy, the Hundred-Handed Ones, Odin, Thor, Nephele the cloud goddess, and so many more. Each looking imperial, transcendentally beautiful, as though the pictures were photographs instead of portraits.

And when they ran out of weather gods, the Storm Mages had hung pictures of various weather and storm mages. Nephele Wether-Vayne, Nebula Fulgurosa, even the famous Atmos Triplets, Cumulus, Nimbus and Stratus Atmos. He wanted so much to be like them. And surely here was the place to start.

He finally found his room. 474. Perfect. Zeus, Jupiter and Thor. The patrons of the Storm Zealots. Things seemed to be looking up already.

At least they did. That is, until he met his roommates, the snarky Nona-Nephele Skykite and the brash, arrogant Zap Storms.

[Tsubasa & Wen Tien]

Asoka: "Hai, Yuka-senpai!"

Asoka went into her room to unload her bags and inspected the room.

Asoka: "Hm? There are two beds in here? Ah, must be that students have roommates sometimes. Right now I can see that it's bigger than my room at home and a lot better looking. But then again the makers of this school probably didn't have to carve this place out of a mountain. Well, time to meditate until dinner."

With that, Asoka pulled out her wooden katana again and started up the movements yet again. This time though without the headmaster around to stop her.

[Marvelous Miscreant]

"Hmmm...good question...I'll have to check the schedule. In the meantime, rooms are over there...and dinner is at....um...6:00 I think...in the grand hall."

[Philote]

Time to go inspect my room.

[Marvelous Miscreant]

One of the Upperclassmen approaches. "I see you've experienced Greg's legendary forgetfulness."

[Philote]

"Ah, yes.....he was quite.....strange to say the least."

[Marvelous Miscreant]

"Don't let it fool you. He's the Student Head for a reason. He's only forgetful from the little accident he had with the sprite"

[Gentleman Vaultboy]

The room was sparse and grey. He guessed that death magic wasn't to popular a subject, because students got individual rooms. In the room was one finely made Bed, one wardrobe, and a long wooden autopsy table. Various hooks lined the walls, for holding things and bits. The room had one window that overlooked the graveyard. The whole room smelled faintly of formaldehyde.

It was love at first sight. Billy set his pack onto the bed, and drew out his things. Various books where piled on the table, and clothing, uniformly dark shades, were hung up in the wardrobe. His ceremonial shovel, bought the day before and polished to a mirror sheen, was hung on a wall hook. on either side or it were hung pictures of the Millennial King and the Empress of the Dawn. On the other hooks he hung pictures of family. Mother and father over here, Poppop right over here, Granny at his side. He had a great picture of his great uncle guarding the wall along with 2 of his great great uncles and his great granny.

Finally, when the room was decorated and made "homey," Billy threw himself down on the (Surprisingly comfortable) bed and just let today sink in.

What a great day.

I wonder if they'll let me explore that graveyard?

Billy shot straight up, leaped out of bed, and was out the door in two seconds. He'd have to ask Bones.
