Daramos’ head snapped to the side as Billy’s fist collided with his cheek, a look of abrupt shock and surprise plastered to his face. The acolyte staggered backwards a couple steps and blinked several times. He swiveled his jaw a few times to make sure nothing had broken and gingerly poked the large dark bruise that was forming on his delicate cheek. A thin rivulet of blood traced a deep red stain down his face from a small cut, courtesy of Billy’s boney knuckles.
Slowly, Daramos turned to face Billy, his face resuming its expressionless mask, but his eyes burning with hateful pride. “I take it you won’t be accepting my deal. You will regret this decision, I assure you.” Daramos turned and headed for the door, maintaining an air of contempt. “I had such High hopes for you Billy boy, but I suppose I have to settle for one new recruit instead of two. Speaking of which, what a delightful turn of events it’ll be to have him kill you for me. I have a certain ritual to attend anyways.” As he spoke Daramos reached up to the small pin on his lapel and began to rub it with his thumb. It glowed eerily.

There was quiet in the hall. Silence, all save for the sound of labored breathing. Had, Eric glanced around the corner he’d have seen Flux, injured from the whirlwind of cherry bombs. His leathery wings covered with burns and cuts. He seemed to be in pain, but strangely was not healing instantly as he had before. He desperately was trying to focus, his wings sluggishly and in erratic spasms began changing back to arms. Finally, as the transformation completed, steam erupted from the wounds and began to heal. Once healed, Flux’s wild grin snapped back to his face as he slowly began prowling the hall, searching for his opponent.

Gorn staggers backward as the halo pulls at his head. As he stumbles his helm comes flying off, trailing black smoke. Freed of the tugging force, the rest of Gorn’s body returns to an upright position.

The Demon’s Razor continues its self-guided trajectory to where Asoka had stood moments before. Suddenly, its tip erupted in a blaze of eerie violet light and disappeared into a sliver in the air. Moments later a similar sliver snapped open below Asoka and the Blade’s tip pierced upwards through it.
This was the true power of the Demon’s Razor. A blade so sharp it cut through space.

"You offered me nothing. I have it from a very reliable source that there is no such thing as fate." Billy said, raising his other hand.
Time to stick it to the old boss! the spider screamed in Billy's head as a tangled black web of pure mana launched from it at the apostle.

Once the surprise of the ease of the action wears off, Zauber immediately flips the helmet over and peers inside hoping to gleam more about his enemy.

She'd heard of blades like this before, but... she'd never seen one before. Asoka grinned and activated Lilianna once more. It was time to see which had more power and energy reserves: her Lilianna or the Demon's Razor.

Wide-eyed, Wulf staggered backward, unsure of whether to throw another punch, another kick or another electrical volley. Being honest with himself, he was surprised either attack had worked the first time. He'd need time to recoup, just a split second's worth of distance.
Though, when he turned to put some distance between himself and the Creature, he was met at once with a soft, wet, blurry air. What the--? Fluffy and watery, he felt his cloud's breezy embrace for only a split second, before it passed around him, and expanded out to block the Creature's advance. Slow, but sure, the cloud blanketed out, and moved yet closer, in an attempt to envelop the Creature's grotesque form in moist, semi-solid air.

As the black mana webs engulfed Daramos’ back he let out an inhuman screech and half turned to face Billy, his eyes burning with white fire. His voice was low and tense, barely holding back seething rage.
“How dare you! I will teach you a lesson you’ll never forget.” As he finished the Doors to the room were suddenly thrown wide open as several large spiders crawled into the room, followed by a black cloaked figure whose face was hidden by a hood. “Hello Billy,” the figure spoke in a familiar voice as he drew back his hood. As the crest of the hood fell away and the shadows retreated, Billy was left staring at someone he once thought friend. James. “…Miss me?”

Inside the helm, bound to the metal inside thick, dark glass is a red shard of glowing and pulsing red mist-like energy. A small face in the shard peers back at Zauber, but just as he gets a glimpse of it black fog begins to fill the helm once again.
Several yards away Gorn’s wispy head snaps around to glare hatefully at Zauber. “Keep Away Mortal!”

As the students fought their battles and waged war on the acolytes. Two unseen beings stood before a large stone door at the end of a long corridor lined with runes and torches burning with a green flame. Carved into the door were two bright Red Eyes One figure chanted ominously, a strange language that seeped into the bones and poisoned the mind, as the other waved a rune covered staff in strange patterns.
Slowly, the Red Stone eyes began to glow brighter.

Zauber stares as Gorn charges towards him, unable to imagine his luck. A mote appears in his hand and covers his forearm in a protective shield. With a quick strike, he punches into the helmet.

The glass crack slightly under the impact and a deep thrum ripples through the air. Gorn stumble slightly in his headlong charge and his body shuddered. As he recovered his continued his stride, boosted as his rage increased. His blade flashed forward closing the distance between them rapidly.

The first to react was the spider.Well, well, swell, speak of the devil and he appears. said a voice in Billy's head. Ain't this going to be a touching reunion.
Between an obvious threat and a fleeing one, it was really no choice. Billy couldn't fight while keeping Daramos from getting away. Billy swiped his hand and the web broke, fading out into little particles. "I'll offer you a deal, Daramos. Tear up all their contracts and I'll let you keep what's left of your natural life when this is over. Take your time. Think it over. It's only going to look better as the night wears on." "And as a matter of fact, I was worried sick!" He shouts across the room, angrily tearing something out of his pocket. He held the communicator up to his mouth and shouted. "Throw these away! They're compromised! Do it imminently!" He throws the devise onto the ground and stomps it in half under his boot, making sure to grind it into the carpet. He started across the room with a look that very rarely, if ever, showed on his face. It was uncomfortable to see, like a mask that did not fit quite right. An expression that just did not belong there. If looks could kill James would have disintegrated under a wave of hurt anger. "These things." He asked, in a voice far to calm to be coming from that face. "Are they your handiwork? That would mean you've been working with them since the beginning of the year."

As Demon's Razor flies away from Asoka, she takes a quick glance at what's going on and taking note that the blade was now going after Zauber due to him crushing something in Gorn's helm, she charges Murasaki with some of her mana before teleporting in front of Demon's Razor with Murasaki held up to counterattack.
With all the strength of a raging fire quickly flitted through her mind as she swung at Demon's Razor.

Daramos Sneered at Billy's proposal but did not speak. He quickly readjusted his suit and slipped out of the room with the sound of soft sigh.
As Billy drew closer to James he could see a hint of regret in Jame's expression. "Yes. They made me an offer just after the school year began. They offered me a chance to make a difference, a chance to be better than I could on my own. I'm sorry, Billy...but I had to. There's no turning back now." Almost reluctantly, James signaled the large spiders to attack. They're massive legs creaked as they reared back to pounce, leaping towards Billy with fang, dripping in venom. "I truly am sorry..."

The demonic blade screeches and sparks as it slides along the length of Murasaki, diverting from its path. Gorn's charge comes to a grinding halt as his weight is thrown into the blade barricade. He pushes with all his strength attempting to overpower Asoka's defense, all the while glancing desperately towards Zauber and his Helm.
"Coward! Face me in Battle! " He bellows.

Asoka grins and lets more mana flow into Murasaki and condensed the swarm of Lilianna's petals a bit more, crying out, "This is the way I fight stupid!"
