Zauber had circled around the room to the other side of the paper creature. Along the way he had dropped off the student-duck behind an upturned table when he realized that he could not be saved with so many curses being flung about. He had not caught a glimpse of Piper yet either.
He had to do something about this threat, because he was running out of time before the number of uncursed students ran out. Zauber raised up his hands, preparing a group of motes, when a thought struck his mind. It overwhelmed him, images flashed through his mind, thoughts from his mage tool. Zauber fell to his knees as he tried to sort out the information going through his head.
