Billy hadn't considered that. He had, in fact, planned on running off right that moment. His cheeks flushed with embarrassment and he looked sheepishly at the ground. He begins mumbling something.

"No, no, of course not, that would be dumb, so dumb, of course we'll have to sneak in that only make sense. Won't just let us in it's forbidden. Regroup at my wing, got it, great plan Mr. Zaubar, very reasonable."

[Philote]

"Then it is agreed. Wear black if you are able, grab any items you think may be useful, and above all else, save up as much mana as you can. I'll see you all in a couple hours."

(Vault, you can do a time skip unless you need to recruit more people)

[Gentleman Vaultboy]

"Yes, I'll do that right now. Make preparations and all that. You two as well. One hour past midnight. Got it. Thank you. Hope you get through to her. If you see Miss Yamata-San or Mr. Irving, inform them of this."

Billy left his co-conspirators and walked quickly down the hall, Gob tottering at his heels. So much to do, so much time now in the day. Well, there were a few things he had wanted to do himself, just to improve his magic, but those could wait. If they were going on a night mission in a forbidden library section, it would help to know the layout. This is mind, he headed, again, to the divination wing.

Billy crept quietly in, Gob deciding to remain in the hallway away from "The Scary Lady!"

He walked up to Samantha Oddak's door, and knocked a few times.

"Miss Oddak, are you there?"

Samantha calls from inside the room, "Come in, I'm making tea!"

[Gentleman Vaultboy]

Oh, tea.

Billy enters, and takes a look around the room.

"I'm sorry to call on you again so soon, Miss Oddak. I have a lead on those red eye symbols you saw in your vision. I was wondering if you might do a little more divination for me. Not the door again, of course, nothing like that! Just, well, I need to know about the libraries forbidden section."

(What does this room look like, aside from the table and chairs. Is it decorated? Does it have a bed? does she live here?)

The room was large, but cluttered. Bookcases lined two of the walls and held not only books, but trinkiets and artifacts of various designs and uses. One wall held a stove and pantry. In the center of the room was the table and chairs. Sitting in a corner this time was a young man who was tinkering with something.

Smantha smiled as Billy entered the room. "Hey you! Welcome back! Another divination, alright? But first have some tea." Samantha hands Billy a small cup. "Oh, this is my other occasional visitor, James," remarks Samantha as she gestures to the young man in the corner.

[Gentleman Vaultboy]

"Hello James, I'm Billy, pleasure to meet you." Billy said, extending his hand to the boy, drinking tea with the other.

It was good. He'd have to bring a thermos next time.

James looks up briefly at Billy's extended hand. Then goes back to his work. "Excuse me if I don't shake your hand, but my hands are rather full at the moment"

Samantha chimes in, "Now James, don't be rude. Billy was just being nice."

James grunts in acknowledgement, but contiues to work. Samantha sighs then sits down at the table.

"Don't mind him. He's ussualy very nice when he isn't absourbed in one of his 'projects'"

[Gentleman Vaultboy]

Billy sits down across from her.

"What sort of project, if you don't mind me asking?"

[Marvelous Miscreant]

James holds up what looks like a steam-punk styled device. "It's a magic-tech hybrid for long range communication. Not that you would understand the complexities of it's design."

[Gentleman Vaultboy]

"No, I would not, but that sounds interesting. Is it finished yet? Me and my friends could really use something like that!"

[Marvelous Miscreant]

"Not even close. I still need several components and this is just the prototype." James sets the device down and slumps in hos chair.

Samantha childs him, "Oh don't look so grim. You'll figure it out. You're the brightest Enchanter I know. Now, Billy about the divination you wanted..."

[Gentleman Vaultboy]

"Ah, yes, of course. I just need to know the layout of the libraries forbidden section, and what sort a defenses are in there."

[Marvelous Miscreant]

"That may be difficult. The Forbidden section is purposefully guarded against unregulated viewing. I'll see what I can do though"

Samantha closes her eyes and her skin loses its tone.

[Gentleman Vaultboy]

"Incredible." Billy says. He turns to James. "Would it be rude of me to ask her how she does that?"

[Marvelous Miscreant]

"Hmmm? I'm sure she'd tell you about her race if that's what you're refering to. Personally, I never asked...it freaks me out."

Billy waits for Samantha to get back, and in the meantime looks over James shoulder as he works.

"So, why are you building it in here? The Enchanters Wing would probably have better facilities."

"That would be because the enchanting wing isn't supposed to know I'm builing this. If they knew they would want to know my methods and I'd rather not share my brilliance."
