Billy gives the small creature a
look, and pulls the doll back towards himself.
"If it's all the same to you, I'd rather come back and give it to them myself."
To Billy, the concept of paranoia was not altogether foreign or, for that matter, strange. When you live in a culture where everyone outside of the wall is out to kill you and your whole family, paranoia goes from being a mental problem to a survival mechanism.
