Remember, you have ten to spend, and no cliche can go higher than six.

While we're on the subject: Phi, home run striker doesn't have to be a separate Cliche, I'm pretty sure it falls under All Star. Remember that cliches are very broad.

I'm good at tests..
“She'd become a governess. It was one of the few jobs a known lady could do. And she'd taken to it well. She'd sworn that if she did indeed ever find herself dancing on rooftops with chimney sweeps she'd beat herself to death with her own umbrella.”

I was using Home run striker for combat skills and All star for strength and agility. I could combine them but I'd need another thing for my character, maybe Equipment manager for items.
Romans 8:31 What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us?
1 Corinthians 13:1-3 If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing. |
You can use any cliche for combat provided you can justify it. All Star implies athleticism, so I could easily see hitting things with sports equipment fall under that. Like I said, Cliches are broad things. That's why you add a description.
So, All star (number of points in cliche): Character is athletic and experienced with all manner of sports equipment. Or, if you feel that that is to broad and does not fit you character, you could change it to Baseball Star or any other particular sport.

I could use that.
Is Equipment manager to narrow you think?

Well, what can equipment manger do? I assume it's a sports thing and has to do with doing repairs on equipment and making efficient use of available space.

Repair and maintenance of items, then access to sports equipment for later.

You don't have to worry about starting equipment, and tools you need to carry out your cliches is assumed to be on your person. In your case, that's probably going to be a lighter or some matches, and a bat. Situations may arise that will take these things from you, and that will effect your cliches negatively. How severely they are lowered depends on how vital it is. For example, your bat being taken away would lower Baseball star but since you are athletic you can still use that cliche. You lighter being stolen would keep you from using Pyromaniac against enemy's.
Now, if this happens I will provide opportunity to get your tools backs or to let you find new ones. For example, after you lose your lighter you come across a pair of sticks. Pick them up and you can use pyromania again, but at a reduced power. If you come across a blowtorch, however, I would probably let you use use Pyromania at more than full power, or give the torch a special effect. I will provide opportunity to acquire new, better tools. Sometimes these tools would give your cliche more power, while others may apply some special effect to the cliche. I like equipment manager. It allows you to fix broken tools.

Oh, I hope all this rule discussion isn't scaring everyone off. Really, it's not nearly as complex as I'm making it sound.

I can't decide if I want to take Equipment manager or something else. I can't figure out how I would use Equipment manager.

Well, say you found something broken on the ground, like a hockey stick. If you or someone else brings it back to your hangout (You home base. Acquiring one will be the focus of the first arc) then you could put it back together. Or, if you had the right tools (Which you are assumed to have) you could attempt to fix it right there. Now, since I assume it's sports stuff you are used to managing, you aren't going to be fixing things that are too complex, like computers or engines, unless you roll really well. But Building and maintaining melee weapons would be child's play. I would also think you would be good at building barricades and simple traps. I suppose you would also be able to optimize storage space.
As a irregular way of using it, you could find someone hiding in a warehouse or storage shed by you experience with the layouts of such places.

Hmm, I'll think about it. I'll take it for now but I'll change later if inspiration hits me.
