The Game is A-Foot!

Hey there,

               New to the forum, but considering I'm intending to write a superhero based script, I figure where better to go.

The story involves Characters that are not so much superhuman. They're teenagers who discover gadgets that can make them superhuman. And all the gadgets involve footwear. So imagine a super-team with suped up power-boots.

But I have a question and I was hoping to pick you good people's brains.

What powers can you think of that involve feet or footwear?

To give you a heads up, I have one idea for a character whose sole of his boots can heat the ground around him to create thermal columns to propel him upwards into the atmosphere (or as far as the thermal will go before the air cools again).

Obviously there's speed. Or Low friction to create a suction/attraction effect. Or Jet Boots. Or Hover Boots. Or Stomping/aftershock boots. But I'm looking for stuff that is a little less mainstream than those. Something that is a little different to the norm.

Any ideas?

Hmm Spring Boots

maybe some shoes that let people stretch out their legs

Some shoes that could be turned on/off that would be extremely heavy.

Shoes with bumpers in the front that propel things they kick

Some invisible shoes that can copy other people's shoes, but the shoes are invisible so other people dont know which one he has.
