*This better not be a trap* I think. I can't tell yet if I want Gabriel to be good yet, or for Prime to return to our team.

I block a beam weapon with my stun baton, and the weapon's energy flickers for a moment as it is clearly not built to do this. It seems to remain functional though as I knock out the closest Darmanite to me. Eventually I'll have to steal one of their guns for my own.

Gabriel jumps through the hole in the base and sprints down one of the halls.

"Hey, wait up!" I say as I follow him,

The fighting continues as we race through the halls, and eventually Gabriel calls me over as we reach a wall. He pulls out a strange device asks me to shapeshift a little as something begins to scan me. With the combination of his hacking and my Darmanite genes, we are able to open the barrier.

We storm the the base and soon come upon wht we came for...Prime, in conversation with the Darmanite Captain.

"Prime!" I call out "Explain yourself!"

I rush up behind, hoping I'll see Prime. Whatever's going on, I'd REALLY like an explanation.

Prime is startled. "Gabriel?....Guys......I-I'm just....negotiating a truce.....with the Darmanites. My presence here is purely in our interests."

"For a person with so much power over minds, your excuse doesn't sound very convincing. Tell us what you are really doing."

"I'm....I'm.....Screw it!" Prime unleashes a mental blast to incapacitate the group.

The mental blast hits me and my world goes fuzzy as I fall to my knees.

The orb collides with Prime's midsection and distracts him enough for his mental assault to falter.

My mind clears enough for me to think back to a previous meeting with Prime.

I realize something and call to Gabriel. "You know how to fix this! Give us the device to block his ability to enter our minds!"

Gabriel smirks at Phi from where he is leaning against the wall. "I could do that, but you won't like it." He points to a small chip protruding from the base of his skull. Then reaches into his bag and pulls out an Idetical chip.

"Catch!" he tosses it to Phi.

"And how am I supposed to use this?" I ask eyeing the device suspiciously.
