Not nearly. You wouldn't have that level of costumization.

@Zale: So you'll do it? Please, pretty please with a lolcat on top? You could do all of the advantages/disadvantages, magitech and intelligent blueberry muffins. There could even be a chessmaster kitten with superhuman intelligence and telepathy. Plus I suspect you know the most about the system. So pretty please make an RP for it.

level of customization? What do you mean?

Well I doubt that the apocalypse RPs have the flexibility for letting people be of all different races, backgrounds, etc in addition to advantages and disadvantages. GURPS is highly realistic. You can even give advantages to your character in the forms of luck and attractivness as well as many other options. Plus you get to manage character points. Technically you don't even need special abilities if you choose to get high things in each stat.

I prefer RPs where there is less rules and points and more freedom.

Yes but GURPS has so many rules and points it is freedom. With the bonus of super detailed characters. Imagine a dhampir teenage girl who has superhan strength as well as being able to do chi attacks. She also has exotic weapon proficiency so most strange or interesting weapons are easy for her to use.

I hate having to assign points to every little characteristic. It makes the RP difficult to manage.

Well you don't have to do it. Though I,(And I suspect Zale, green, wulf, and some others) would probably like specific characters. Anyway it's just an idea right now.

It was a pain in the ass to get all those profiles together for the Fantasy RP. It would be even more difficult to get more detailed ones together for this.
