A better answer for way back when would have been that you used the virus to track bug. He should have still had traces of it in him from when you healed him. Sorry I'm just getting to some of these.

by the way if another argument like that lasts more than three pages in one of my Rps I will either kill off or embarrass the characters of those involved in the most horrible suicide inducing ways imaginable. On a side not eI've decided that after the rat arc we will be doing the ghost city ark, and perhaps one more ntil the city has to enter it's docking Phase with a base in order to restock supplies, 'have a bit of something planned for that. After that situation is handled and over with most of your super identities will become public and the actual advertising fromt eh beginning will become a part of the storyline....for some reason i'm partial to a zombie infection.
