OK, I think the gene manipulation is a little too ambiguous, so how about this. My character can form spikes on his hands that act like syringes, and he can do several things with them: he can inject a special harmless virus into someone that makes them produce more of the virus he manipulates(I will expand on this more later), he can use it to slightly mutate people, to heal, or to harm. The virus is airborne in an invisible undetectable cloud around his body, that he puts into the syringes for the effects. He can produce some, but he needs to use it on other people every once in a while, to reduce or increase the amount, because he needs at least some to live, but too much also kills him. He will eventually be able to solidify the virus into  shields or other things, and eventually clones. Is this OK?

Ok, so my character before the RP was an average guy with basically nothing. When he got his power he found he could basically reinvent himself with a new body, leading him to try to become a super hero. He still had problems though because he still didn't own anything which led him to apply as the spokesperson/mascot/something for the Grubb's company (I may need a better name for company), a company that sponsors/runs different restaurant chains. Letting him get free food, money, and a place to stay.

 He will eventually be able to solidify the virus into  shields or other things, and eventually clones. Is this OK?= One clone, just one, and while the clone is manifested he cannot use his powers otherwise he dies, due to the lack of virus. Sheild and items eventually yes.




My overall veiw= So far it sounds like you've got a workable mix of syringe manifestation, controlled supernatural immune system, and Viral manipulation. From what I've read it sounds like it might be a power that get's you onto the fast track of villainy but that's only because of the Viral farm scenarios, add a time limit to the mind control strain of the virus, but the mutations caused by it can be permanent if enough is injected into them at one time. As for the viral aura aroud you I'm not entirelly sure, if the virus can be spread by air, then no, it would be a bit too powerful, but otherwise it should be okay, perosnally I'd just have it be stored within the surface of your skin which would allow  for the shields/swords/cllones, what have you, but you would still hav eot inject it to have it work..However if I were you, I'd add a feature that allows you to use the virus as a tracking device sso you can scout the general location and health of the infectees. Health onlly if they were injected.

What was your character's ability again?...also start out from the nothing part, you can get to the eatery chain ater on within the first week or so if need be.

Ability to create different bodies. He starts off with 2. First has some shadow powers and second has some weather powers, but he can't use both powers at same time.

No idea, but I remember now, your surrogate right? fair enough, it sounds good, and you also have the added perk of being able to endorse multple companies by having each different form have a job.

The virus is harmless unless directed, there is a time limit, it can spread to people through the air, but it can only go 3 yards from him, and like I said, it's harmless unless he controls it, I think the clone restrictions might be a little tight, and I'm hoping some of them could be bypassed in the future, but for now they seem OK.

I made the clone restriction because I'm imagining it would be like an alter ego/shadow control power. As in the clone itself would be super human, and capable to infect people.

I just would use the clone to use his regular powers more efficiently, for espionage, for fights, and various other things. They're not meant to be a villain either, they discovered they're powers while experimenting, as they will be a geneticist, when they accidentally inject the virus into a small specimen. He thinks he did something horrible, but the animal had been hurt, and he wanted to help it (why he was experimenting), when he healed it. He suddenly became aware of the cloud around him (through being able to sense with it, the virus is in every way, nearly undetectable), and realized his newfound powers.

Technically since it's not really a group Rp our actions won't influence each other until further in, so technically you could start it without me, but I'd preffer you not to, but if everythin else is finished we'll put it to a vote and see if we can start this.

I vote for this to start, as I already do good enough at following all the RPs I'm in, and not much is really going on, or has been for the past few days, so I think we could do this without too much trouble.

....Neo, I was going to ignore this but everytime you give an order it should expend a fare amount of energy, so the commands hover and follow could be a bit much when follow would have worked just as well. Just keep it in mind.
