Scale...of...the...universe...
This is absolutely awesome. It didn't make my brain hurt, though. Rather, it made my faith increase. Even more.

Did increase your faith huh?
Makes me wonder. On that slider, what would be the size of God ? I hope he's not bigger than the Sun. Cos we would look mighty tiny to him if that was the case.

As big as the universe in every spatial-temporal direction.
Omnipresence.

If you have Omnipresence it doesn't mean your size is bigger than all the universes. Would need a whole bunch of invisible eyes though.

Infinite spatio-temporal occupation, resulting in capacity to focus in on, and easily perceive, existence on any level. Simultaneously.
Now THAT'S some stuff to hurt the mind.

Think of it as a very awesomely variation of Synesthesia.
You would have an essence that transcends space and time, meaning you are present everywhere throughout history, and even in places outside of time. Not only does it make you effectively immortal, but it makes you able to see EVERYWHERE, like a sentient gaseous mist being able to see out of every side of its body.

What bothers me is the idea of a being that created the entire universe, yet still gets hung up on if people are married before they have sex.
The wonders never cease.

His world. We're just living in it.

Well I guess the Atheists and Buddhists must be glad that they don't have to fear such a being. So don't be sad for them.

I'm not sad for them. Not really. I was a couple days ago, but the thought of feeling sympathy or empathy for them didn't make sense to me after a while. I just didn't get around to changing my sig again.

Think of it this way, if you got bored one day and decided to make a computer program, and then spent seven painstaking days of your life creating this perfect little environement on your computer, and then put in little animals, and plants, and planets, and stars, and decided to put a little robotic AI into the perfect paradise and gave it a simple rule of not augmenting it's program in any way, and then you make a little friend for it so it won't be lonely when you don't want to talk to it. Turn around for three seconds. Turn back, the AI has altered it's program by downloading an information file and has multiplied and they're all rapidly killing each other but are also mating enough just to keep the population high enough for their rapid homicide to not make a difference, while they are simultaneously doing everything they can to destroy your program. Now How do you feel?

It's hard to think of size when your dealing with higher dimensional shapes....

I wouldn't make a stupid analogy like that, for one.
You could do better.

Oh, and if you want to respond?
Shut the fuck up. I'm sick. I'm angry. And I'm very, very tired of listening to people professing their beliefs constantly, then acting like I'm a horrible person for disagreeing. Moreover, I'm really sick of the moral dissonance when a person I know is nice and great suddenly becomes a narrowminded ass whenever certain issues come up. They're all fine and do charity work, but they'll be damned if those gay people get to marry the people they want to. No, this is not about any of you, so don't get all huffy. Now, I'm going to go to the bathroom, because I think I'm about to puke. Damn stupid body getting sick.

I'm gonna say the same thing to you that I said to my friend earlier today.
(I will only give you the short one; I failed to realize just how long the other one was earlier...) THIS is a good example of the essence of TRUE Christian faith. Not those people you see all the time using religion to look holy, and to justify their own feelings of moral superiority, and to fuel their biases and prejudices against others. (Oh, and in advanced, if you're not in a good mood when you get this, please wait to respond until you're in a better mood. Doesn't matter you accept or reject my offer for consolation, but if you're going to reject me...please reject me calmly and sans the hostility...likewise, if any of you try to get on me for bringing up God, save it, religious discussion is allowed; it's the arguments that are discouraged...)

I know. I'm awful, aren't I?
I have emotional issues that I really should find someway to deal with. Self-Hatred cycles around, making me more and more miserable and angry until I want to lash out... Normally I can muster enough control to keep from venting onto my friends, but then I get sick and the added physical miserableness deteriorates my control and I just.. explode.. And you're such a nice person too. You don't deserve this... And then I do this, and get all apologetic... don't deserve forgiveness for acting like a fool, then trying to garner pity out of it.. So self-critical.. tired.. My head aches and I still feel nauseous.. Sorry for being so disoriented.
