I have a world like that. Geometropolis, a land of Kudonntinkuvwon. It's where a humanoid race of creatures called Morphe (pronounced "more-fee", plural Morphes or "more-fees") live.

They have a natural affinity for geometry, and some can psionically produce shapes out of energy, which they use as weapons and armor.

Oh, yeah, and we can probably have the students of KCoM venture into Celadon on some field trip in the near future.

You guys wanna narrate it in NB or KCoM?

In the one I'm making, there are four races (Names in the last post) each one of them is made of a different geometric shape. Each of them also have a superhuman ability specific to that world..

The Cubic can fix one thing to another, sealing them together seamlessly. They use it to build things that are nearly impossible to separate.

The Pyra can do the opposite. They can cause things to split and separate. Despite how this would affect normal people, most Geoms merely find it temporarily debilitating.

The Ovids can make more of something. Give them a pebble, and they can make a hundred. Rather useful.

The Cylindials can diminish things, causing parts of it to vanish. This can't totally destroy something, but it can reduce it to a few tiny shapes, or in our case, a small bit of flesh.

Hm...interesting.

Yes.

The world is split more or less into a concentric circle.

The innermost is called the Real. Everything there is a 3-D geometric object. Most of the Geoms reside there.

Then you have the second, which is the Semi-Real. Everything there is a two-dimensional geometric object residing in three-dimensional space. It's.. interesting. Any Geoms that go there become 2-D. Cylindials can't go there, as they do not translate from their normal forms (Cylinders and Cones) to anything flat.

Then you have everything else.. which is the Unreal. Things from there aren't geometric shapes. They're one-dimensional creatures trapped in a three-dimensional space. The fact that they have to move in three dimensions drives them to crazed extremes of the mind. To us, they'd look like demented, ever shifting lines- constantly forming new images and shapes.

They want to kill all the Geoms, which causes the two groups to fight.

 That last group sounds horrible!

I wish I had thought of them first...

I always t hought that a two dimensional object would just cut through everything and slip through the atoms in the floor.

I don't think it would "cut" through stuff, but it would be  stopped by them.

Logically, quite possibly yes.

But I'm using hand-wavium to keep that from happening.
