A classic you should probably google to understand.

I never actually made a school, so I guess I'll have to stay out of this.

(Dryad, would you like to join the Elemental Planes RP? I think you would like it. Make a post in the comments thread for it if you're willing)
Romans 8:31 What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us?

1 Corinthians 13:1-3 If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.

 It's fairly old.

I think it predates even the 90's Superman and Batman series, and the Animaniacs...

Imagine how I felt when my cousin revealed she didn't know what N64 (Nintendo 64) is.

If you say so...

Now, for more on the Mars Combat Academy:
Names of Students' Soulswords (in order by rank):
   1. Field of Bloody Blades
   2. Crushing Alchemical Gauntlets
   3. Eternal Dragonflame of Love
   4. Yuki no Senppon Ogama
   5. Phoenix of the Inferno and Tundra
   6. Pharaoh of the Dead Empire
   7. Lightning's Endless Fury
   8. Colossal Singing Tsunami
   9. Mugen no Hakai no Katana
   10. Kami no Kagayaku Tsukiribon
   11. Eagle's Piercing Eyes
   12. Runic Grizzly Bear
   13. Seductive Fantasy of Light
   14. Deadly Deck of Tricks
   15. Towering Gust of Wind
   16. Iceberg Fortress Headquarters
   17. Kami no Toshiue no Ban'noyaku
   18. Heaven's Thunder Bird
   19. Perfect Alchemic Compound
   20. Fist of Powerful Punches
   21. Infinite Mental Ocean
   22. Makina 3.0
   23. Piercing Infernal Tempest

   31. Steel Bookmark Sword
   32. Freezing Meditative Waterfall
   33. Elemental Oak Bow
   34. Wand of Magical Change
   101. Diadem of Feral Wolves

Please note that some of the Soulsword names are complete misnomers and that the wielder cannot choose the name of their Soulsword. Also, the names given are for the Ultimate forms and as of right now only 1-10 and 101 can use their Soulsword's Ultimate Form.

In general, as a reference the Top Ten can use the Ultimate Form, the Heads can use up to Hyper State, Specials can use up to Released State, and Normal students can only use the Normal State. There are some exceptions ( Student Rank 101 Arinee Solando is the biggest one as she can use the Ultimate Form of her Soulsword).

The school that you create doesn't have to be from way back in the past. If you happen to think of a school with superhumans at any point just put it on here if you want to.

Hm...Celadon Academy is roughly the size of a miniature city. It's pretty big on its own.

But I AM considering establishing such schools all over Celadon.

Same day the Greek goddesses Paidia, Pandaisia and Pannychis joined the ranks of her school...

They're not the actual goddesses, their parents named them after the three. Also, I did mention that the Heads are recognized by Greek letters and Phi is a Greek letter.

And I find absence of a sense of humor detestable.
