A second flash of lightning blinds me and combined with the rain it gives the rat man a chance to escape. I am left standing in the rain...alone.

When I return to the Jewelry store I find Arc missing. A trail indicates that he has been abducted. Presumably the Rat man had friends. It looks like I'll have to rescue Arc.

I figure I've got to get some help if I want to rescue Arc. It was time to go looking for those other Metas.

I think I'll wait until the next story mission/arc whatever before rejoining.

I Caussually walk the street trying to think of where to look for the other Metas. Suddenly I remember something. I pull a buisness card out of my pocket.

"Time to give the creepy doctor a call"

In another part of the city.

I use my shadow as a platform and ride off the roof of a building down towards a street filled with police cars. After some negotiating to show that i'm friendly, I assist the cops in stopping an armed store robbery.

"Hmmmm.... no answer. It just keeps ringing. I'll try again later. But where can I find the other Metas?"

I keep walking down the street trying to think of something.

[Marvelous Miscreant]

As I walked, a new broadcast caught my eye.

"...stopped a violent robbery today. Witnesses say that a Meta was responsible for stopping the burglers and putting an end to their theft."

It was a lead. I needed to get to the scene of that crime quickly. Maybe that Meta who had helped was still there.

I took my time after ending the robbery, it was good to get some publicity, and I couldn't exactly get away easily with all the cameras around.

When I had the chance, I rode my shadow up to perch on the store I just saved.

I arrived at the scene and was greeted with a crowd of onlookers.

"Crap, they could be anywhere."

I slowly make my way through the crowd, looking for the Meta.

I travel across the roofs but the people below follow me and I see a news copter coming closer.

"Publicity is good, but its a drag when you can't get away. Oh, why couldn't it be night."

I notice the crowd is moving and several choppers in the sky are focused on something. Then I notice the figure on the roof.

"There you are", I mutter to myself.

It looks like he's the center of attention. I can't talk to him if everyone is focused on him. Time for a distraction. I leave the crowd and enter a nearby alley. My body turns to Steel and I lift up a small dumpster. Then I throw the dumpster in a perfect arc into the street. It lands near the crowd, causing people to panic and flee.

"The heck was that."

I use my shadow as a bridge across the street and chase after whatever caused the commotion.

I stand back in the shadows of the alley so the civilians don't notice me.

"You again? You're not a villain now I hope. What was with the dumpster?"
