Anyways, I have something planned for when you reach the skull of the graveyard system.

@Zale: Have any other ideas for the underground D&D thing? Like maybe good name for the continent or what should be the first thing they do after they reach the continent (They get there though an underground well, falling into lake, so they would be starting out on the beach)

Not meet people immediately but soon.

Well, I'm sure falling from what is their sky would attract some attention from the nearest village.

However, the Serrians being who they are, the expedition to see what happened would naturally proceed at a slow and dignified speed.

Ok, so what would be a good opening quest / area as they emerge into new world.

Hmm.. Somewhere out in a fairly open place, so to speak. A few small villages nearby, but nothing huge. Maybe a ruin of some kind nearby for cliche's sake.

Though, you have to wonder, what would a huge cave thing like this look like?

Maybe only one village in the first area. Would look like the inside of a cave, even though there is continent it isn't all in same cave section.

Different rock formations to make up terrain with sparse plantlife (Mushrooms, moss, some other stuff)

Well, perhaps they see what appears to be an artificial light off in the distance. Maybe they decide to investigate.

Have a quest-giver be there, a social outcast, living in poverty. He got kicked out because he cared a little to much about the odd herbs and mushrooms in the cave-world, and was socially disgraced because of this.

Perhaps he could ask the PCs to collect certain plants from dangerous places he can't go, or help him reclaim his social position. Many different ways to go with that.

What about being an actual DM, how do I set up how strong to make monsters to be? There would probably be about seven people playing if I talk them all into it.

If you are the DM, then yes, you'll have to make encounters and NPCs and I don't even know what else...

I've never done that so I can't help much.

Depends, Wizard most likely unless the warrior has a way to deflect spells.
