Physical constructs mostly.
Romans 8:31 What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us?

1 Corinthians 13:1-3 If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.

Erm...it's possible, I suppose. Empathy and Pathokinesis (manipulation of emotions and emotional energy) can manifest in numerous different ways, I've always thought.

Even to the point of manifesting physical energy constructs.

And this school IS for the best and the brightest.

Okay, sure. We'll give it a go.

You could have done similar things as a Jiryan, the next creature I was gonna suggest, anyhow. The only difference is you'd do it with psionic energy.

So yeah, good choice.

Might as well go with the creature named empath.

I'm not quite sure which I'd go with yet, though. My thing is, I'm so fond of all the creatures I've made (and the ones I've researched), it's kinda tough to choose just one.

And suggests for a magic using character?

Or a speedy one.
“She'd become a governess. It was one of the few jobs a known lady could do. And she'd taken to it well. She'd sworn that if she did indeed ever find herself dancing on rooftops with chimney sweeps she'd beat herself to death with her own umbrella.”

Well, naturally an elf would be good for magic. Or a half-elf. Or a magical human.

There's also djinni (not GENIES, djinni; this includes the various types of djinni; Ifrit, Marid, Ghul and 'normal' Djinni), half-djinni, cambions, changelings, fairies, leprechauns (and half-leprechauns), the numerous other different types of fay, etc.

As for speedy, there's Fears (the various types), Vampires (or Half-Vampires/Dhampirs), Sylphs, half-sylphs, Hyphemancers, Leukanders and plenty more...

Ask questions as needed.

What are Sylphs like in your world?

Thin, lithe humanoids. Pointy ears, bright eyes, fairly pale and almost always have blond, white or at least light-colored hair.

They are elementals, of course, so their connection to the wind element may be stronger with me than other sources. Rather than just flying, or being intangible, nearly-invisible all the time, they have solid form, but can take on an airy form at will, as well as flying and perceiving and manipulating the wind.

At their best they are spirited and carefree; at their worst, they're flighty and airheaded. And yes. Pun intended.

So, how fast do they move when they aren't in their elemental form?

This post was updated on .
Double human speed, with full effort.

In aerial form, naturally, fast as the wind will carry them.

They sound fun.

My character shall be one of those then.

The goofy, ditzy, happy-go-lucky kind.
