Another idea I had:
In this world there is an artifact, a three layered clear crystal (A crystal within a crystal within a crystal), that appears once each year. This artifact gives whoever finds it the ability to change the theme of the world, causing the world to radically change every year throughout history. Finally, one man is able to take control of the artifact, causing it to not vanish and to give its owner the ability to control the theme of anything. With this power, the man quickly takes power and gives out the ability to control certain themes to those loyal to him. Other major world powers begin, now that the cycle of the artifact is broken, to replicate the artifacts power for themselves to try to regain control from the man.
Romans 8:31 What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us?
1 Corinthians 13:1-3 If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.
