Roleplay Idea:
I know we've done realistic superheros (Evo's stone) and over-the-top (New Beginning) even fantasy (Prison/Generic Fant). BUT. Unless I'm mistaken, we still haven't done comic-book-superheroes. I mean weird back-story, every kind of power source works, we save the day from villains, comic book superheroes. Mostly because part of me wants to be able to make characters with power sources/back stories/powers that are to weird or setting breaking in other roleplays. Like a character who's an alien or one that's a mutant or one with magic powers or one from the future or one who's genetically enhanced. It could work if it were like new beginning- Medium/small posts, almost total freedom and no overarching plotline beyond "Defeat the Current Bad Guys". I really should follow through with an idea before spawning new ones.

For example:
Bob was perfectly normal until he got doused in radioactive waste! He woke up the next day with metallic skin and the ability to fire energy blasts. Now he fights crime! Simple, but succinct.  Sarah didn't know she was descended from legendary dragon slayers. That is, until she dream of slaying one of the gigantic beasts. The legacy of her family has been passed down for generations, and now it is Sarah's turn to pick up the sword and use all of her newly found talents to protect humanity.
