What?

Not like I'm ruining plot for you.

By the time you get to it, you'll have forgotten the mention.

I like the idea of the randomizer being some specialized one of a kind device.

Maybe have points in the RP where we lose our powers and can regain them (different power though of course).

Problem would be with the more overpowered ones on the site.
Romans 8:31 What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us?

1 Corinthians 13:1-3 If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.

I'd ask how far along you are on the story, but life is already so full of disappointments.

Anyhow, do you have anything else you think would make for a good Randomizer RP?

Well, you wouldn't pick ONLY overpowered ones. And if you did, then you'd have to re-select from a different set of five.

And yeah, the Randomizer could be an awesome device. Losing our powers would also prove for interesting plot development...

Maybe the powers would only last for a specific period of time, forcing us to re-choose.

Maybe it could be like a Shen Gong Wu from Xiaolin Showdown. Maybe we would need to wield randomizer devices individually, and we'd have the same power for a certain amount of time before it changed on its own (or we lost our powers and the devices would need to be used again)

And then losing our devices would really suck.

Constantly changing powers would make it confusing.

Maybe so.

Hence our brainstorming.

There are other ways.

How would we avoid it getting confusing if the whole RP is based on randomization.
Romans 8:31 What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us?

1 Corinthians 13:1-3 If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. It was a question.

Whole RP is based on people using device to cause people to have random powers, sounds like people would be switching powers a lot at different points which would be confusing.

Oh, sorry, I read that wrong...

But, no, if we had them be more stable, it could work.

Like maybe the Randomizer starts off by giving OUR characters (and/or the villains) each some random power, and then maybe the Randomizer has to be recovered before something bad happens with it (i.e. terrorist group, alien threat, reprogramming to steal/block/negate powers, etc.).

Not sure what I'd want to do with it just yet.

When would the randomizer actually be used to randomize powers then after the initial start of the RP?
Romans 8:31 What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us?

1 Corinthians 13:1-3 If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. Technically randomize could mean:

to distribute random powers (giving powers to normals)

to redistribute powers randomly (to take powers from one super, and give them to another)

to change one power into another (super's power changes)

Take your pick, but I prefer the first...

The last one is also interesting, have one style of power and have it randomized how it works.
