Well, I can understand what is meant.

Maybe, when you think of a character, a certain song comes to mind.

Meh, some people do.

Sometimes I'm listening to music when I make them up, so when I see them, that song immediately comes to mind.

Or I hear the song, and a character comes to mind.

Like listening to gospel and imagining angels. I've had THAT happen before.

Oh! And the song, "No Air", by Chris Brown and Jordan Sparks. Reminds me of sylphs, and it even inspired me to think of a sylphen (sylphin?) mating/mate-finding tradition that I incorporated into the Celadon mythos.

It's actually quite fascinating.

Meh. Not everyone is.

I can't play musical instruments for crap, and my singing and dancing are laughable.

Though I do have a rather fun time doing that mythical creature music thing.

Like a couple songs made me immediately think, "SUCCUBUS!" or maybe mermaids, or nymphs running across a field. Or a gancanagh seducing a loverly young lady.

That's not what I said. What I meant is that I don't associate music with anything.

Of course i'm interested in different types of music. I love a lot of differnt songs.

I couldn't really think of theme songs for any of my characters either.

Ooooo those three are good. I'm currently mixed with genre's, but the first I got into was 90's alternative.

Gospel.

Every once in a while Rock.

Pop (if it's not over the top).

Techno (again, if it's not over the top).

Just...not Country. I can't STAND Country.

I'm Southern. Born and bred Florida (It's southeast, but not really considered a part of the South, I know...still). But Country gives my heart, mind and soul the heebie-jeebies.
