If all else fails, you could casually strike down one of the demon's knees and "discover" the ring.

It's sitting below the image of the demon.

Until the demon gets more real, it can't affect anything that doesn't have a mind. Right now it's mostly just making people think that it's actually harming them.

You could, say, get it to move and the ring would continue to sit right where it is on the ground.

Personally, I'd like to play out this little scenario until it comes to an end I.e. that ring gets to the mausoleum. It could just pause while you're gone.

I don't want to keep this going indefinitely but if everyone is interested we can keep going and try to get an ending on this. I'd just like to see if we can get this One Shots thing to work so that we can try out multiple stories without them dragging on too long.

If you can keep the demon busy and from using the ring, then you all could continue the fight on your own while I'm busy tomorrow. If it gets to the point where it would use the ring again or you all move onto something else, then I'll try to post again as soon as I'm free again.

@Zale: you can go ahead and try what you're wanting to do. Vault and Bug have the demon pretty well distracted. They are free to keep adding what they wish, but your character has all the time she needs to finish up what she is trying to do basically.

So, I think I may just wait until the next one. This isn't grabbing my attention.

Though, fortunately, this would be a great way to try out some of our proposed RPs that never really got off the ground. I'd love to see how far we could get down the list.

Besides, you need to pick some RP at least to put your attention into.

Yeah I wanted this to end sooner but I didn't want to cliff hanger it or do something abrupt. We can work on going faster in the next one. If Zale doesn't post tonight then I'll make something up. It would help if people would post consistently. Marv disappeared and Wulf didn't try.

Do you guys want more events to happen or should we just wrap this first one shot up and move on?

With such short one shots its actually easier to wait out the current one if you don't get in on in time or fall out of posting.
