Well the best Sympathetic villain I've seen is nox from the series wakfu. One of the reasons he was the best was cause he succeeded in committing genocide to achieve his goal being to obtain enough energy of creation (aka Wakfu) To go far back enough in time to stop himself from making a mistake that caused him to make him who he was. However upon succeeding he the amount all the wakfu he gathered only amounted to him traveling back 20 minutes after defeating the main character. The machine he used crumbles and the moment he traveled to was before genocide occured.

Nox was one of the most powerful characters in wakfu able to take on the dragons and eliatropes in wakfu. He himself is a xelor but for those who don't know what that is it means Time magi.

And the lore about dragons in the series is that dragons are always born with a sibling being a eliatrope. Eliatropes are physically human however can manipulate wakfu into portals. However the way they use their portals is a bit complex considering the main character who is an eliatrope learns to shoot a laser with them.

P.S. nox was going crazy from the object of power he had and from feeding off wakfu to keep himself alive. Another note my picture I'm using is an Eliatrope

Well, look at it this way.

You read a fantasy novel all the way up to the climatic ending where the hero defeats the arch-enemy with his only weakness.

And then you find out the bad guy was playing with them the whole time and that their only hope was nothing more than a sham.

If you aren't expecting it, it's quite a shock. Especially if you're used to things working in the normal format.

What do you all think of the idea of an RP with the MCA, Celadon Academy, and KCoM all in it? Shadowulf, Marv, and I would all control our respective schools, though any PC from the RP we have up on the KCoM would still be controlled by the person who thought of the character in the first place. Lots of things would have to be worked out though before the RP could start.

well it wasnt too much of a shock that nox won the shock was that his plan was to go back in time to change a mistake he made thus in turn would erase all the evil things he did. However the item of power known as the elia cube only used enough power to go back 20 minutes in time and you see that all the villian did was in vain as the army was about to take him in  you see him cry as he never gets to see his family ever again, but the hero stops the army saying that what had happened was enough and nox said farewell to the hero so he could die where his family was. You see in the credits of the season finale of wakfu that he turned to sand right near a grave and all that was left of him was his wrappings, armor and sand.

That's a good idea. I was thinking that the main point is that the three schools are doing joint missions together. I have all of the Top Ten, Heads, and a few others all decided on but for the rest of the students you all could think of if you wanted to and control some for the RP.

@Philote: So long as it's not Aeon, because it would need to be a world not under the control of someone from the SuperPowerList.
