Srsly, I really am anxious to get on with Evolutionist's Stone.

 If you have anything you see that needs correcting in the RP, that's why I adminified you: so you can edit them as you come across them, without us needing to consult with one another. Edit them at your judgment , and at your leisure.

I think I'm just gonna go ahead and edit the stuff you've said needs editing thus far, and get back on with the story.

Okay, so, the Evolutionist's Stone series is currently under construction.

Pay no attention to the erratic eruption and rearrangement of new ESRP threads. Things will probably be a little hairy for the next few days.

Do not be alarmed. Do not attempt to adjust your television. We control the horizontal and the vertical.

I seriously hope things go well with this rework. The pages are a bit more disproportionate than I planned. Like the ESRP threads for Chicago and Boston. Boston has only like thirteen posts, while Chicago (the one I had more fun with) is currently at 37 posts.

When things get back up and running, hopefully it'll invite participation, so that the posts numbers can more even out (except the first two arcs, of course, which have been finished).

Shad, you seriously need to figure out a different approach for the RP section. You current solution is not working. The ES threads are taking up far too much space.

Seriously, if I move them all to a folder, they fade into obscurity, like the Games section did. If I let them freely wander, it's gonna be really inconvenient for folks who want to participate, when I re-open it next week.

I personally think this is the best option, unless it's maybe decided that ESRP should be moved to a whole separate section of the forum. Until such time, it's the lesser of two inconveniences.

It's actually, really inconvenient. Nobody can see the other threads without opening up the whole section. Just pu them in a folder for now.

 That's not so inconvenient. I'd say that's a very minor inconvenience.

And again,when it gets back up and running again, how will I handle them, then, if folks want to participate? Apparently, nobody can be bothered to search in folders, which basically dooms the RP to shut back down again. Or, at least, leaves me to post by myself again.

In a folder would be less inconvenient and would still let people contribute. They're all the same story anywyas so keeping them together in one location makes more sense.

 And how does it keep people from contributing otherwise? Because they don't want to click to view all the other RP threads?

So, you'd doom the other RPs to save yours? You say that putting them in a folder or another section would doom them because people don;t want to go look for them, but now you put all the other RPs in that same boat. People don't want to have to go look for them and you've buried them under your multiple threads.

No, I don't. Being buried in a folder is not the same as putting them in a section that is only slightly less visible. Don't make this a matter of me being selfish; it's not. You know as well as I that the RP is flailing right now, and needs all the visibility it can get. Be honest; if I said tomorrow that the RP was back up and running, and put them aside in a folder, would you think to look in that folder AND read through the stories to think of one you might be interested in participating in?

You know what? Forget it. I'll put them in a folder. I'm perfectly fine with being the only one who keeps the RP going. If you or anyone else wants to join in, you'll know where to find them. Like you knew where the Games folder was in Internet Awesomeness.

It's just as visible in a folder as it is when it's buried in the section. Both are just two clicks away.
