Reality Benders are characterized by being able to shape the world around them according to their whims: alter things, create something from nothing, cause effects spontaneously, make the impossible into reality.
It can't do any of that. It can, however, use it's vast collection to mimic these sort of abilities. The power isn't his, but he has so much and has been around for so long I like to think he can stand toe to toe with beings like you guys. Well, that and the pretty much total invulnerability.

So I see that you mentioned that his prime body, or at least original body, is the body of the last of the race who made him. Does this race differ from humans in any important way or were they simply more advanced?
You also mentioned that he had security systems along side his invulnerability. Does he have any special abilities or powers alongside what he has collected? Does he have to use the items he has collected exactly as they were originally, or does he "own" each individual part that makes them up, allowing him to combine them as he thinks fit? Are there any noticeable things that he has collected? Things that stand apart from the mass amount of exotic items he has obtained that really describes the upper levels of his abilities? Could he update the schematics of himself / the original form of the vault or can he not be changed (Going with the invulnerable design thing)?
Romans 8:31 What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us?
1 Corinthians 13:1-3 If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing. |

Does anyone have any questions or observations?
I would like to discuss/describe more but I'd have to know what needs to be known.

Not in any important ways other than great magical prowess. It's the kid, by the way. The little grey haired kid.
The security only activates if something gets inside of him. It's mostly confined to there. The security was probably much more effective when Vault wasn't bigger on the inside. Mythic status; when you are rumored to contain "all the treasures of the universe" you gain the capacity to do so. He can combined them in any way except for using them in conjunction, but it can use every individual aspect as if it were a separate item. For example, to move around he uses the Form of someone within it. If it wants to know something he can use the Knowledge contained in a book. If a weapon has a magical ability though, it prefers to just use the weapon. No telling where the ability could go without the thing used to channel it, after all. The collection is so vast and eclectic that nothing really "stands apart" from the rest of it. When it comes to stuff that really deadly, it prefers not to use them because it could damage the planet it's visiting. It mostly just likes dropping heavy things on people. For example, there's this one ting called Lucifer Omega. Mementic Virus, very nasty. Hearing the name or knowing even one of the symptoms, even if that symptom is in the context of a completely different disease, ensures infection. 99.99999999999999999% fatality rate. One of the final symptoms is that it slowly transforms the victims body into salt. The problem with complete invulnerability is that it's also completely static. Unchangeable.

Verdammt. *Turns to salt*

Has he ever though of locking his own mythic status within himself, or himself within himself through some force of paradox?

You are severely underestimating the strength of this vault. For example, one of the earlier symptoms was whooping cough. While Lucifer Omega was active every single person who developed a whooping cough, for any reason, contracted Lucifer Omega because that was one of it's symptoms. And once one person on a planet caught it.... But, it's locked away now. You can know all you want about it now. One might effectively "kill" it, and the other would probably tear a whole in the fabric of creation.

I think I've finally decided how I want the next major event in Philote's timeline to develop.
Shame, I haven't even finished the introduction to the Labyrinth Virus in NB yet though.

Wow, my gifts appear to be oddly self-serving. I'm more vain than I realized.
On a more positive note, you put way more effort and thought into this character than I have for mine. Plus you actually remember all the stuff you have where as I've forgotten all but the ones I use more than once.

So I watched Ender's Game recently and it inspired me to go back and refresh myself on all the great things from the book and its sequels, including Philotes.
While not all the rules about Philotes in Ender's Game match my current lore for my NB self, it did inspire a lot of it, so if you guys want to check out the origin of my name, check out this Link.
