Yeah one of those serpents didnt like me, had to avoid it forever but was able to kill one after some dimension hopping.
Them are semi intelligent and usually remain undetected by those on the surface unless they get angered.
Romans 8:31 What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us?
1 Corinthians 13:1-3 If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing. |

Scary stuff.
I imagine it'd be scary even if it went up against a gullet or a cosm...

Gullet: A living black hole that hovers about the star system where Celadon is located. They suck up space debris, and absorb cosmic energy to survive. They usually die in groups, with one's death initiating the death of another. They suck each other up into a contained gravitational vortex that has no effect on any other cosmic body unless they get too close.
Cosm: A living cosmic storm that originates from a mutated collision of life force and cosmic energy. Normal only the size of a storm cloud when they live in the atmosphere of a planet, they can grow to the size of a whole separate galaxy when drifting for centuries in the depths of space. Naturally, they also survive on cosmic energy. Though fortunately, they (like the gullets) can survive on the energy of a star without killing it and causing a threat.

I could pull one of the characters I more or less just made up out...
Theres... Jocosa.. The Countess Jocosa is fairly nice. As nice as the capricious Fae ever come. One fairly benevolent semi-ethereal shape-shifting magical being born from dreams on the wind..

Well, if you're doing mages, I'm throwing out either Darkess Faye or Baldrimmr (the Mad Mage).

She's not really a mage.
She's a fae. They're like 60% magic anyway, so it's a fine distinction.

Those sound nasty, they could probably handle the water snake since they aren't really physical but the snakes size may let it contain smaller ones it eats.

I s'pose. Darkess Fae is really a witch. I mean, like a literal one, so who knows if they would get along...
As for Baldrimmr, he's kooky. And is basically Celadon's Doctor Strange, with less of a penchant for goodness...he's more chaotic than anything else. Trained under Merlin and a few other powerful wizards. And it's left him...uh, colorful.

I don't doubt that. It's a good thing the more dangerous creatures tend to be pretty neutral, otherwise, Celadon would ALWAYS be in danger...

Hopefully nothing. Mine are fairly dangerous left to their own devices. The Mad Mage Baldrimmr, Darkess Faye, Djinn Zetsuei...they're all at least morally gray, if not worse...

They're really creative with magic, and love to use it. Being so eccentric as they are, they'd likely see the chaotic New Beginning world as an invitation to be even more insane.
And BTW, Zale: Evil is not one big, happy family when it comes to my villains...

Well, I think I have some good magic users? Um...let's see.
Akita Perses? No. She's a bad witch. Billedandrei Perses, her sister? No. She's worse. Caertos Darkstone? Oh, HECK no, he's Akita's master. Darn it, I should work on that. Maybe some new characters are in order. Unless I use Madam Rehd, Madam Blou, Madam Yehlo and/or Madam Grene. They TECHNICALLY count as mages. Not sure what the crap I'd do if we stuck with mages. I don't wanna be a bad guy. I think I'd prefer just sticking with regular supers.

You have so many characters, I'm going to get lost with your names.
I guess i should write how the core system works.

Well, she's more or less kindly disposed to those not of her kind.
Which is as good as it gets with them. Most Fae may help you or hurt you. Or turn you into a duck. They may shower you with magical gifts or make you dance until you die. A capricious people. Dangerous.

I know, I still have some unlisted ones, as well.
But what do you mean core system?

Same for Darkess. She only tried to kill me when she found out I had the Book of Celadon. Other than that, she was pretty nice.

Well, that's how her people are normally.
By human standards, she's.. less than enthusiastic when it comes to helping others. But compared to the callousness of the other members of her race.. she's practically a saint.
