I broil in a cloak of violet flames, sending out flickers of fire at little monsters.

Things are about to get very cold.

Having converted to cold-type along with the monster that spawned them, the diminutives are taken out with relative ease by Zale's assault. The Penultimate takes Zale's cue, and joins up with him, breathing out fire left and right.

With the creature's mind drifting into a slowly-increasing stasis, the diminutives' numbers grow fewer and fewer. Still, the radius of cold grows wider and wider. It spreads at an unreal rate, metastasizing with speed a cancer would envy...

"This storm monster, apparently." I call out between heat-blasts to destroy diminutives, "Fortunately, though, the little ones are dwindling in numbers. Let's try to get rid of them first, and then go for the storm monster itself, yeah?"

[The Narrator]

Areson: You have to let me get that storm monster thing!

Narrator hurls beings out of the way.

Narrator: I wish I had enough energy to summon a black hole.

Usually you only do that when you're super scared!

Narrator:  Hush

Narrator begins spinning catching several mini monsters in her face,

I wrap myself up within the last remnants of the pyrokinetic flames, producing a cocoon of warmth within the beasts mind until my allies could disrupt his freezing abilities.

The monster's cold is persistent, but after minutes of constant fire-blasting, and even a psionic equivalent of fire burning brightly in its mind, the cold snap breaks. It can no longer sustain its freezing temperature, otherwise it risks a mental meltdown, quite literally. A guttural hiss escapes the creature's throat, and it thrashes free of its frigid state, now attempting to fly off and escape. As it blasts off at gale force, toward some unknown depth of outer space, it leaves behind an obscuring purple haze, a powerful half-physical, half-psychic mind fog...

The Penultimate shoots fire up through the fog, determined not to let the beast get away, but as attacks hit the fog, they simply vanish. No more sound or light or other effect seems to escape from it.

Ha, it ran, it didn't have the juice!

With the cold receding, I am free to continue acting within the creatures mind. Sensing that the creature is attempting to flee, I move from within the creature's mind to just above the creature's head as it flies upwards.

"You're not going anywhere"

I prime my Overdrive and fire another random-based psychic attack.

Telekinesis, Telekinesis, Telekinesis. Critical Thought!

My Overdrive hits a jack pot with a point blank shot, and I fire the telekinetic energy on the creature, pushing it back down towards the Penultimate's attacks.

Wrapped safely within my cocoon of violet fire, I continue to tinker with the device.

[Celadon's Penultimate]

The storm creature thrashes, writhing this way and that, with the occasional pitiful spasm. Its mind now thoroughly compromised, its capability now thrown completely into chaos, its flight pattern is cut off all at once, and the creature falls back to the ground. The creature's brain fog trails behind it, but quickly dissipates into the air, as it gets closer to the ground.

Now outside of the creature's body, I fly down after it to help the others finish it off.

[Zaleramancer]

The flames around me begin to lick eagerly about for enemies to consume.

With all the mercy of a striking snake, the engulf several small monsters.

[Myself]

Realizing my careless absence has left a beast to rampage, I join my allies in a fight.

I technologically enhance my telepathy with the combined minds of the civilization I lead and attack the beast with billions of independent telepathic minds, each capable of using the same power I would normally, despite many being far less skilled.

(I know it's being finished off already, but I had to join in. ).

[The Narrator]

Areson: hey, is it dead yet? I wanna poor it wit a stick.....

We've been nerfed, silly.

I know that, but technology hasn't.
