Zeus, while mostly angry at the foe he was fighting, was also somewhat entertained. A giant eagle, a swan, a serpent, and more. Likewise, there were new forms he had not thought to take before; he would have to remember those later.

But, he would not let this be any cue to relent. As with the Titans and the Gigantes and Typhon, he would take his battle seriously. Sex and life and relationships were frivolous, meant to be enjoyed however one desired. That much he knew. But battle was a matter of business. And his business was to reign.

That in mind, he grabbed the monster by the throat with one hand, and pulled out a thunderbolt with the other hand. His grip was strange this time, though, Raven realized.

No matter, though, Raven resolved. He would just change again and--

What? Raven gasped sharply. Something was not right. Despite even his best efforts, he...he couldn't change! He looked down, and met gazes with Zeus, whose flashing blue eyes were narrowed menacingly, grinning with wicked delight.

"What trickery is this?" Raven's serpentine form hissed, now more openly dismayed.

Zeus smirked insidiously, and then replied simply, "Hehehe...I'm not King of the Gods for nothing..."

The crack of three simultaneous thunderbolt strikes rang even in the silence of outer space.

With the threat defeated, I cast my senses out into space to try and gain a better understanding of the situation. I become aware of the actions of my friends and how they have dealt with similar situations. Finally, I notice something different in the area of Zale's home.

The Labyrinths that I have create dissipate as I enter in a limiter program that I have been developing.

I set off alone to investigate, taking the unconscious group that I recently fought with me. Morph and Biome are sent off to recuperate and to inform others to prepare should I and the other SPL members need assistance.

On a lonely blue planet orbiting a ancient and bloated red star, there is is a Door. Before the door sits the only sapient being on the planet, a huge clockwork colossus crafted from bronze.  It sits and watches, ticking away into eternity.

This is the only physical entrance to the extra-dimensional space of my Library.  

[Philote]

A hover down from the atmosphere, the first to arrive at Zale's planet, and lay down the unconscious invaders in front of the clockwork being. I try to gain the attention of the being to greet it.

[Zaleramancer]

A multitude of voice explode from the machine speaking in a thousand different languages. The babbling words are wholly incomprehensible and they rise in volume as if about to reach a peak when-

"Oi, Shut up you. Shove-shove-shove of to the limbs where y-whss-ou belong! Sssstupid Class One-nes." A new voice overpowers the others, speaking with strange whirls and clicks, patches of static and skipping sounds.

"Now-w-w-w. We have he-clkn-re what?"    The metal man hissed as pistons moved and gears clanked, letting off a small cloud of steam. Eyes-coverings spiral open and closed as it examines the invaders.

"Crsh. S-sending-ing in injured more injured al-ali-alies. Prepare med-rak-rak-ics." The unconscious invaders vanished. Once again, the machine turned, whirring and hissing as it did to see Philote.

"Id-identifi-whrr-cation?"  

[Celadon's Penultimate]

The Penultimate "I call out to the Drym! And the Arbor Avatar! And the Glacier Guru! And the Lava Lord! And the Storm Sage! And the Wind Warden! All Celadon is offended by hurtful deities! I call upon you to restore balance!"

The depths of space begin to stir, and stir and stir until they are whipped into a frenzy. Space, time, energy and matter coalesce, whirl and spin, thrashing and throbbing in some chaotic mass.

First comes the basest elements, and they shift into substances, and those amalgamate into composites and compounds, and they form into trees, and rivers, and mountains, volcanoes, and lakes, and seas, and clouds and fields and more. It is ceaseless, aided by the temporal assistance of the Penultimate.

Finally, it all hisses and rushes and clashes and bangs, concluding when at last there is a profound silence. All the structure is complete, and only the inhabitants remain missing.

The Penultimate beckons to the established earth, and it yields easily. From it sprouts a myriad of stone nubs. The nubs grow higher and higher, until they are the right height and dimensions. And from the depths of outer space, spirits begin to return. Those who had lost their lives in all the carnage began to inhabit the stone, in the sky and the earth and the sea. All the living things wrongfully killed were restored.

Another dignified cooperation between the Wind Warden and the Glacier Guru; the atmosphere returned. Another cue from the Arbor Avatar; the fields and forests and jungles and oases were reborn. A final gesture from the Lava Lord, the Storm Sage and the Drym; all living things once again had their fire, and their rightful intellect; the sky had regained its temperament.

The Penultimate looked at his supernatural sponsors, and they acknowledged him pleasantly, without words, before passing back into the Elemental Planes.

(Then I return to first-person perspective and go off to scout out where the rest of my SPL Forum friends are... )

With the Penultimate having finished the repairs of Celadon, I drift over to him with Kiki and Mayumi flanking me, before long I tell Wulf what occurred on Earth and request his aid for seeing what has happened to Zaleramancer.

"Well that was fun." I muse to myself as I lounge about. My two foes had been defeated (somehow.....) and I was content to relax...

...yet something was off.

(Ooops. I realized I made a mistake. Minerva Academy, where my characters were fighting Zale's is on Earth. And I just sent the Penultimate to where the fighting's ended. It's Zale's place we need to go to.)

And with my superhuman RP Awareness, which allows me to break the OOC Fourth-wall, I totally heard that, and am now headed, instead, to wherever Zale is (or wherever Phi is, on the brink of finding Zale)!

Having already known where the final fighting would be taking place, I, as well as Kiki and Mayumi, were already heading to Zale's area.

*Zooms to warp speed to catch up*

Philote of the SPL, I've come to investigate Zale's condition.

[Zaleramancer]

"Excellent.exe  I apologize for the vovovov- speech patterns." The voice seemed to pause, as if trying to push back the errors. "My base unit is currently in /01110100011100100110000101101110011100110110100101110100/,I am teleoperating this Machine. -ALL HAIL- This leaves me unable to ful-hss-ly reduce interference."

With a clack and clatter, the machine sank back to it's original position.

"You allies appro-clk-ch us now. I will at-attempt to allow you to-tototototototo SCASS bypass the normal guardians if you assist me/do me a favor/help me/act charitably. My base unit contains most of myself/me/ my self hood/01110011011011110111010101101100. It was not taken when-en the others fled that port-ion of the library. I wililililil position you near the Sphinx/old pendant/meanie!/. Pass her trial-Brsh-s and I will open the gate to 01101000011011110110110101100101. Take my base-unit-it-itittititititi and then we may CLAKCLAK move to the others enenenenenen then save him/Zale."

Unsure of what to do about this object of curiosity, I sit back and use my sensory powers to observe to progression of events.

I believe my Intuitive Aptitude* may be able to assist a clockwork being if needed, but I am not sure if there are sides in this situation and if so, which one I should join.
