"Quick!" Techne called, back down on Celadon, "This isn't going well; go to defense mode!"
Techne cursed in Elfin, knowing full-well that her robotic prowess had not intended this kind of threat, and awaited just how much damage her poor bots would take. Maybe after they were done in, she'd do what she hadn't want to do in the first place; call the Penultimate in to handle what promised to be most troublesome invaders.

Swords continue to clash as Matron analyzes Atsuko's style looking for an opening.
The Mage moves to the side to avoid the gargoyle and forms a dozen swords of varying elements and throws half at the gargoyle and the other half at her opponent. Andrea makes another teleportation away from her opponent simultaneously attempting to teleport a needle into her opponent's throat. (You decide if this works, Zale) The Priest continues with the barrier from his cross and recites another passage from the Bible, this one from Genesis. An apple tree sprouts up from beneath his opponent. The Gladiator steps back simultaneously saying, "Release, Alpha Beta." His gladius separates out into 5 gladii, one in his hand and the others floating around him. The gladii around him fly towards the Gladiator's opoonent to impale him on areas the same color as them. The Glutton moves as fast as he can back to his refrigerator to get something else while keeping his eye on his opponent. Tutu holds her scimitars in front of her crossing the blades. As soon as the blades are crossed, a forcefield forms between her and the snake.

The shadows strike what Jess has sent at them, at nature's energy spews forth from the shadows to sear what they can. Plants begin growing on what they can, or just floating in space if they can gain no hold.
I complete my transformation. The darkness hangs around my like a tattered wanderer's robe, and my clothes have shifted to be woven from different jungle plants below. Only my gear containing my experiment remain close to their original forms as to not disturb the Labyrinth Virus. Morph's satellite collects the transmitted energy into a ball that quickly grows out to the edge of the saucer. Once the satellite could hold no more, it reflected the energy out as dozens of small flare like bolts of energy. The flares swarm through the Labyrinth, never flying in a straight line. The new figure reaches the battle and closes in on the Stellan.
Romans 8:31 What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us?
1 Corinthians 13:1-3 If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing. |

Enemy scanned: Weakness found.
The blade of the sword shimmered before blinking out of existence, and the Mannequin placed it's hands in front of itself a few inches apart. The flames of creation and destruction blazed, before being drawn towards the center, spiraling into a small dense point. An instant later a small spiked orb of white floated between the Mannequins palms crackling with black lightning. "Replicate." The Mannequin quickly thrust its arms apart and the orb multiplied forming into around a dozen copies of itself. The Mannequin placed it's hand in front of one. "Lock on, Fire" The orb shot off at an incredible releasing a recoil as if it were shot out of cannon, soon followed by another an instant later. (The orbs are seeds of destruction. What they are is basically an incredibly dense ball of destruction, kept stable by a thin layer of creation set to break upon impact, or long range detonation.) |

As Matron watches, she notes that Atsuko uses an archaic style- very good, very old.. But she also realizes their is an opening. in her opponent's attack pattern.
------------- Robbie unleashes a barrage of magic to counter the swords but one escapes to injure his leg, while the gargoyle simple continues to advance. The swords ricochet off. ------ The sword nearly drops from Lucasta's hands as the needle pierces her throat. A surge of light comes from the sword, drifting upwards. Her other hand trembles as Lucasta covers her wound, hoarse voice whispering healing words. Gethin rushes over, scales dropping to reveal himself with simply dragon claws and wings. Their eyes meet, and a moment of non-vocal communication passes between them. Dark Gethin rushes for Andrea, while Lucasta charges the Priest. ------ The gladii rip through Jone's cloak, tearing flesh and staining his clothing with blood. A look of shock passes over his face before the red stains spread across his body. He vanishes. --- Abby merely lets herself lean on her cane, waiting for the Glutton's move. ------ The snake stops, appearing to chuckle. It speaks for the first time, revealing a rasping and echoing voice. "You think to win? You know me not." It begins to ripple, shapes forming on it's sides. Legs emerge. "I am passion." A head emerges to speak. "I am rage." Another appears. "I am want." Yet another head sprouts. "I am Id!" All heads shout in unison, shattering windows for miles. What was once a snake is not a many-headed Hydra. It strikes.

Finally, Scratches tattered cloak falls away.
A crackling column of solid static and oscillating sound waves. A boom of sound roars towards Marv.
“She'd become a governess. It was one of the few jobs a known lady could do. And she'd taken to it well. She'd sworn that if she did indeed ever find herself dancing on rooftops with chimney sweeps she'd beat herself to death with her own umbrella.”

Jess calls for what remains of her Bolt-Creature. Sparks realign into a faded spiral.
She begins to mutter a rattling incantation, and the Bolt changes shape, becoming an arrow pointing down the hall. The sorceress sighs and begins walking in that direction, towards Rafe. --- One of the many small flares echos off the walls near the young girl. With a dismissive glance, she holds open a hand before her. As if being drawn there, the flare hovers towards her. Without a sound, the little girl closes her hand and spurts of energy bounce from between her fingers as the flare is crushed. She continues walking. --- The Stellan advances for the new figure, glowing from it's recent consumption of half the small energy blasts.

Anarchy bellows, sending rippling chaos in every direction, as the attacks strike him. He falls back.
When the Silver-Haired woman strikes from behind, bashing at Jester with a staff made from bone. Arieh still hovers in reserve, not wanting to engage with so many allies in the way. Grash-Har continued to mutter to himself, drawing pretty patterns in the air with arthritic fingers.

Raven, in dragon form, grew more serpentine as he wrapped around his foe. Then he began to constrict.
Spider reached the ground, rippling and flowing into a crack in the ground. Coyote stared at his opponent, wondering what it was doing.

The Cyclopstron buckled under the pressure of the serpentine foe, giving way from force just beyond that which it could take.
The Chimera 3.0 X-series followed Spider down to the planet's surface. If he couldn't do much to stop him, Nikolai still wanted to find out where his foe was going. Meanwhile, the Hydranoid had finally begun its assault, shooting various blasts of poisons and acids. In between each blast or couple of blasts, it would lunge in, attempting with snake-like reflexes, for a poisonous bite...

Convinced the Cyclopstron was ruined, Raven released it and fluttered towards the ground.
As soon as the Chimera came close to the ground, blocks of earth emerged around it, snapping shut. Coyote ignored the poisons and the acids bubbled away before hitting him. He took great joy in leaping past the heads and even landed on one of them.

The Penultimate strode into the room with Techne and Computress.
"Um, Penultimate, there's some folks up there. I have the whole database on Heroes of Celadon members and Fighter X members, active and honorary. These are not them. They seem hostile." "Fine." The Penultimate responded, "I guess I'll go handle them. The others are all off on other missions, far as I can tell." With that, the Penultimate went out to meet the two who remained in space.

"Coyote. Stop playing. He's here!"
Without a word, the Hydra-mech fell apart. Every bolt and screw came undone, rivets popped free and metal tore. Coyote sulked as he floated towards Raven, who was rapidly resuming normal form. Spider remained below, preferring to remain in his element.

The Penultimate rippled through the atmosphere, his aura dark purply blue. He arrived with a sizzling sound surrounding his body; he loved how the atmosphere reacted with his aura.
Eying the two suspiciously, he thought to introduce himself, but then decided that it was more proper they introduce themselves first. He crossed his arms, face serious, and waited for the intruders to get the hint.

"So.. I'm Raven. This is Coyote. Our friend Spider is somewhere around here."

"And what do you want with my planet?" The Penultimate demanded. They didn't seem the type for pleasantries, so he would get right down to business, "You don't look like you want to take pictures for postcards..."
