They fight and attack in order to defend and I did not have them using any random powers I pleased. The defense squad of that mansion has seven people not including Camille and Emily.

1. Mandy - Fire
2. Susan - Teleporting and Blade Manipulation
3. Teenage Boy - Metal Manipulation
4. Not shown - Ice
5. Not Shown - Electricity
6. Teenage Girl - Gun Manipulation
7. Not Shown - Instant Storage and Telekinesis

I used all characters available. I did not give any of them random powers and they attacked you only to defend. As for the world reducing powers, you guys are unnatural to it, they are natural to that world. They don't have to deal with that hurdle. Lots of my worlds tend to be like that for defensive purposes.

If your plot was slightly more flexible, you could have just spun the combat out until our inevitable defeat, then have the people listen due to the grudging respect they had for our power.

Marv: Go for it, you can all do something fun and just ignore the fight until I end up dying or succeeding. All in all it I should have gone up about three ranks by now from just surviving the initial gunfire.

if you wanted to, one of you coud have simply knocked me out while I was distracted by the fight by now if you wanted to, or course I would seek revenge when regaining consciousness but at lest the story would proceed.

My plot is slightly flexible, but I try to portray each character as accurately as possible and this was how I believe they'd act based on the personalities I chose for them.

@Mik: Your rank is still at I. As I have said multiple times, your power levels were at maximum the second you entered this world and thus you can't get a power boost to go up in ranks.

I read the power, it also goes up by making your opponents look weaker by countering attacks, simply surviving, and showing displays of power.

You think like a Novelist, where every factor of a story is under your control.

This, however, is a roleplay- where a GM must tolerate people doing crazy and inane things they never planned for.


And I tend to let my characters change over time. At first, they act like I think they should, then gradual flow into the way that feels "Correct" for them.

Doesn't mean I won't change something to help the plot along.

And Camille specifically reminded you that the group's warnings were repeatedly ignored by you guys before throwing it at you. Also, if you pull a person away from a group and they don't know who you are, what do you think their first thought will be if you are on the side of an enemy?

As for unnatural advantage, if you are talking about the world decreasing your power levels, deal with it. I have several worlds set up like that and you entered this world willingly. You were not dragged or forced in . You walked in on your own two feet.

A good half of my characters en up trying to kill me actually. I think I give them too much freedom

I am more real than my characters. The Unreal can only harm the Real if it is allowed.

We don't have ime for the petty rules of a mortal realm bent on selfish desires, if we need to span eight dimensions to stop a universal threat, we're on a pretty solid time limit. In addition we aren't really t be trifled with, if my sword was a weapon of mass distruction when you tried to block it, it would have simly cut through. I want to end this so I can create and then defeat a giant  tentacled interdimensional space monster, but I'm not going out with a wimper either, so are you ready to move on with the ark, or no.
