The two exchange blows, the Guardian deflecting off blows with his hands. This continues on for a moment, until the guardian pulls a trick. He disarms Zale from one of his blades with a combination of stretching and phasing.

It slithers around, twisting and coiling, then hisses at the superhero from it's perch.

The Guardian is thrown to the floor and skids back to the entrance before flipping back to his feet. His form begins to shimmer for a second and then three duplicates separate from him.

Each one shares his strength, but vanishes after their first blow.
