With a swing of Sarabi the air becomes imbued with energy which travels forcefully at the Guardian. I swing Sarabi repeatedly at the Guardian. Then follow up with a flurry of white energy quartz bolts.

(Which guardsmen did you trap?)

(Yeah, well good luck to your shadow. Probably going to have Singing Water wake up and wonder how long he's been out of it for. The spell he cast earlier has the side effect of protecting him if a hit of enough strength is detected but knocks the user out. He's a casualty for that reason. Also, Pannychis Leto will show up at just the right moment with her Soulsword ready to go.)

(She's basically indestructible, the worse that could happen is her reverting to a normal shadow for a week or so.)

@Zale: The Potion Summoner is on his last leg, and does the only thing left for him to do. Waiting for the Shadow to come in close, he reveals three more Unstable Concoctions tucked into his armor, and detonates them.

(Ok, give me a moment and I'll give you another target, though we should probably move this forward to the point where the SPL members take me on themselves soon.)

@Dryad: The Guardian moves on to the next phase, summoning an identical sword to his left hand. Still with the property of striking in more spots that just the impact. With another boost in speed, the Guardian vanishes forwards, and then dashes around several times more, striking the magnetic barrier from several angles.

(That's why his blade is called Infinite Release, from what I can tell, all Bleach characters gain power by releasing to a higher state, so the Guardian is able to do this, just without limit)

@Marv: The Guardian fights back with its Mineral-saw as best it can, his opponent has surpased the ability of a normal Miscreant. Quartz though, is something he can handle, the quartz bolts hit him and are absorbed in.

@Bug: The Dragonball Guardian roars, building energy until he can release a Prismatic Spirit Bomb through his jaws.

The Pokemon Guardian reappears from its ghostly state opposite Bug. The red energy that signifies a Pokemon exiting a pokeball wraps around the Guardian in the shape of a Charizard. Roaring, the Guardian releases a Flare Blitz towards Bug's back.

The nanocytes begin to eat through the cage...unless it, too, is invulnerable.

If the cage IS invulnerable, Techne initiates the teleport-to-safety protocol, which will allow them to warp out of the cage in approximately five seconds, leaving a few in the cage for later...

Either way, Techne shifts to Forcefield Mode.

Meanwhile, the Penultimate channels MythPower:Theia's Light, to perceive the Guardian's invisible state. The two are divine abilities, so this works.

Then, channeling MythPower: Eris' Enmity, I materialize three Golden Apples of Discord, and imbue each with the same four abilities.

MythPower: Laelaps' Pursuit, turning each one into a Guardian-seeking missile.

MythPower: Teumessian Fox-Trot, in case you try any funny business and attempt to destroy them.

MythPower: Chaos' Cataclysm, to do the Guardian in (and if he blasts them, they can disperse into particles, and reform, making them effectively invulnerable)

MythPower: Charon's Conscience (if the Guardian gets hit...its soul is beyond the Point of No Return)

"Oh shi-"

A deafening explosion rocked the formerly zen garden, blowing the shadow aside like a rag-doll.


She survived, barely, reduced to a fragmented splotch of darkness. It shifted shakily, fluttering on the winds left by the blast.

"Kill..you..all.. for.. that.." She gasped before sliding along the wall and vanishing into the darkness, to rest and recover.

@Wulf: The nanocytes eat through the cage, but it takes them a moment to do so, and the satellite continues to replace the shields in it's spare moments.

Morph raises his distortion cannon at Techne, whatever doesn't hit will be reabsorbed and reflected by the satellite.

(Warning: Just because this Guardian is supposed to be a Mythpower machine, doesn't mean I have the knowledge to back it up unfortunately  I'll see what I can do though)

Twin infinity symbols appear in the Guardian's palms from the power of MythPower: Aeon's Essence, and he sends the incoming apple's into an infinite loop.

The Guardian suddenly seems filled with rage as he takes on the power of MythPower: Lyssa's Rage. Further bolstering his power with MythPower: Bia's Benefit and a legendary sword forged from MythPower: Hephaestus' Forge.

Finally, using MythPower: Hermes' Hustle's command over travel, he shuts the portal before beginning his assault.

@Zale: (You can bring back your Shadow during the last fight if you wish)
The last of the original group to confront Zale finally makes an appearance. A Guardian wearing a gray superhero costume that covers his entire body with no markings and a cape.

@Everyone: When these fights come to a finish, bring the fight to myself (Preferably with just the main NB cast) for the final battle.

Suddenly, just as Lightning Troll's barrier is about to collapse and he's going to unleash a new assault, a voice cries out, "Release, Floating Daggers!"

Something invisible starts to cut up the guardian melting, freezing and electrocuting him at the same time as something else also restricts him in place. Pannychis Leto steps forward and says, "So this is what the situation is. I am Pannychis Leto, a former Student Rank 11 Rho Head of Soulswords. I will now take you on weakling! Ultimate Form, Festival of Floating Daggers!"

The cuts on the guardian start to come faster and faster with the restriction becoming more... restricting.


(Can I have Yamata Mina join in for the final battle? I want her to use her Ultimate Form Soulsword at least once.)

(Is Lightning Troll still there?)

Metallic blood pours out of the new cuts, forming into armor over the Guardian's arms, as well as into more metallic eyes to push away the bonds holding him. Once he has room to move, the Guardian flies into the sky. The Guardian now has a large amount of the metallic substance surrounding him, sending it out first in a wave which covers the daggers, allowing him to see them. He then swings his blades, sending out a blade storm from the metallic substance with each swing.

(Um, maybe. Are you going to fight as yourself also?)

Lightning Troll creates magnetic fields that cause the metal to fly off of the invisible daggers as Pannychis decreases the temperature in the air with her Soulsword's daggers.

The blade storm continues downwards towards the Guardian's opponents, while the Guardian's two blades are set alight by the Guardian's spirit energy. Seeming to vanish for a moment, the Guardian dashes forward with another upgrade to his speed towards Pannychis.

Lightning Troll stops the blade storm by magnetically yanking apart all of the metal as Pannychis flash freezes the guardian's body with her Soulsword.
