Several dozen more golems join the ranks that my lieutenants and I are fighting. The main threats of the golems, their resistance to being altered, takes a while to overcome. I realize that we are not getting anywhere fighting these forces, and that we must take out the source of their creation. I give the command to my lieutenants and Pyro and Psy create a distraction and we all slip through one of Soul's mirrors. Moments later, we pass through the boundary that marks the Celadon dimension. If my hunch is correct, Techne's genius is behind their creation.

I use my teleportational missiles to teleport the golems to another location. These burrow into the golems (I used Ability Imbuing* to modify this batch a bit).

Of course, they did teleport to me, but I was aboard the Promiscuous at the time, so when they attacked me I teleported outside (thus into deep space) and telepathically ordered my city-ship crew to fire at the golems.

I'm moving the CloudSlayer (now completed) to replace the Promiscuous between the galaxies. The Promiscuous should return to a galaxy after its mission and it's more powerful than the others due to age (thus experience of the crew and the most modifications), while the owner of the CloudSlayer has a score to settle with the beast.

The Promiscuous is now returning to the Milky Way to deal with golems stationed there while its laboratories develop more effective weapons. At the same time, the other bases are developing technology and building military equipment as well. I've dedicated about 75% of my fleet to this new threat.

Well, at least they tested my entire weapon selection on the golems, so now I'll be more effective at fighting them.

Shad's modifying his golems? Two can play at that!

How would you like to face my army of self-replicating machines which provide information on any enemy they face or any way they die or are rendered inoperable/disconnected to the hivemind. The more there are, the greater their calculating power.

I was saving these, but now seems like a good time to unleash them.
