He simultaneously slightly alters the flight trajectory of the incoming beam and creates a gust below him to fly up into the sky to dodge.

In the air he drops a couple feathers to cause the same effect with the stones that he made before, but coming from different directions.

 "Kaen points his sword to the ground and yells," Aero Leviatus. "A blast of wind erupts from the tip of his wand envoloping him in a sphere of swirling air and lifing hi of the ground at an incredible speed, just before the feathers hit."

....Darn. "Kaen inspects a cut on the back of his neck." I'm going to have to move a bit faster then. But first. " Kaen holds his shield towards the opponent and yells." Spears of light. "an instant later the shields surface glows a bright white and several lines of light dart in all directions before homing in on the opponent."

and the fact that I didn't really see Him or his twin brother from when they were three till they were about seventeen....haven't told him yet though. I still need to track down Rhiolo and get their mother back.

He expands a sphere of energy around him as a shield, as the darts of light pass through it, their trajectory is changed so that they collide with each other before reaching me.

I guess this means i'll have to use the ring after all. "Kaen sent a blast of energy into the ring on his finger and the black stone in it's center flashed brightly, before the ring expanded into a guantlet, and then spread up his arm and over his entire body, forming into a golden suit of armor." Dimension break. "kaen moved his hand forward slowly and the space in front of him seemed to crack, releasing huge amounts of energy into the air as it spread towards the opponent.

Deciding to not stay still, he decides to do what he is best at and flies around the area, increasing his speed.

Edit: It seems his instincts were correct as the first wave of deadly energy washed over his previous location.

Fast...but not that fast. Aero Leviatus! "THe wind around Kaen intensified exponentially, and he sped off in close pursuit of the opponnent" Blade of Dancing Twilight multi thrust! "Kaen swept his sowrd in front of him sending several smaller blasts of grey energy in front of him curving in trajectory to follow the wind user.

He flies forward, making full use of his expertise in flying as spheres of energy try to collide with him. Noticing that Kaen was following behind him, he releases a featherstorm in a trail behind him, the spheres of energy that pass through it become assaulted with bursts of wind that alter the direction they are heading and launching them into random points on the barrier of the field.

(I'm not sure what the upper limits of the field are, but if i'm able to, he begins flying upwards out of the atmosphere.

I was assuming only a few hundred feet.

"The blades of twilight  whose trajectory is altered crash into the side of the arena exploding on impact with the barrier, while the others hit the ground slicing through the ground creating deep holes.  Kaen notices the Feather stom and begins to go into a spin" I call the from the heats of stars. Eternal Flames! "Kaen's body erupts into fire as the spinning motion causes him them to whip around hiim, creating a practical comet of fire, the feathers trajectories are altered as they are incinerated by the fierce flames as a jet shoots out of the commets core towards his opponent.

Matsuri then shreds the land sharks to pieces with Senbonzakura Kageyoshi's petals and yells, "Getsuga Tenshou!"

He flips and flies backwards at the same speed. He swipes three of his wings creating three tornadoes that rise up from the ground to give him a barrier to have time to active an Overdrive.

The ends of his wings glow blue as he activates Force Swap. The gravity in the field suddenly changes direction with such force, that all the earth below begins to rise to the ceiling.
