New Beginning 15: DX Directors Cut

[Celadon's Penultimate]

The Wind Warden is relentless, his incorporeal wind form casting about slashing, hateful wind blasts. If these creatures so despise the air, then he won't let them breathe a whiff of it to breathe for themselves.

The Drym perceives the molecules of his surroundings. The neutrinos from the Sun. The quarks. The leptons. The gravity of the planet. Time to unleash the energy within, and teach this Scorpion a lesson.

The Storm Sage looks at the Crocodile with malice, and unleashes powerful electrical volleys worse than the storms on Jupiter, even calling down the occasional bolts from the sky itself. And when he grows bored of those, he rubs his hands together for a sonic thunder blast.

The Glacier Guru inhales calmly, and then lashes out, blasting the most frigid water at the Fish and the Squid. His icy form shifts to meet with any attack they launch at him, and slowly, but surely, he brings the air around him down in temperature. He will bring it down as low as he must to immobilize them.

The Lava Lord is just as ready to face his foe. The Wolf reminds him a bit of the Penultimate in his Wulf Form, but it doesn't mean he will let Wolf get away with his attacks. He breathes forward a stream of molten lava, and pelts the Wolf with blue fireballs.

The Arbor Avatar raises plants from the ground to grapple the Bear, while fortifying the rock and metal beneath his OWN leafy exterior in case he encounters a direct attack from Bear. Pillars of earth rise at his side to pelt whatever attacks the Bear can offer up.

The Kitty of Doom realizes the threat in Fox and Tiger immediately, and grows to his Doom size, twice the size of a bull elephant. Perhaps he won't beat GODS, but it he's going to die, he'll do his master, the Penultimate, proud.

Meanwhile, Snake and Spider give Brutus a run for his money. If Matsuri had summoned maybe Grendel, or the Lernaean Hydra, or the Chimera, or the Gorgons, he'd have a better chance. But, still...he HAD gone against the Penultimate before in the past. So perhaps he could have SOME shot. He'd just have to put forth his best effort, and be optimistic.

Well, admittedly, it doesn't take reality bending to do that.

I mean, with one power, Sebastian Shaw was one of the most powerful mutants alive. And yet Magneto killed him with one hit.

It's basically the equivalent of:

"OMG, you resisted my reality bending attack!!!"

"Duh, I has reality anchoring. I guess it's not so bad that's my only power!"

Here's where the fight might end...

Suddenly someone teleports in with an aura powerful enough to intimidate all 12 gods, the Elementals, Brutus, and Matsuri. Upon closer inspection, the person is wearing a black dress with gold renditions of a phoenix and lions on it and a tattered book at their belt. The gods back away surprised as it is Aurum.
Aurum: "This looks interesting. May I join in?"
Matsuri & all 12 gods: "*No, we were just ending.*"
Aurum: "Aaaaah..."

*Poofs out of this universe*

And where do you get off narrating the reactions of my beings?

The Drym has made and destroyed entire universes.

The other Elementals have access to the realms pertaining to their domains.

Not to mention, Brutus has never even met her, so he doesn't know her.

I think I'd just like to see what she can do, so worthy of fear from GODS.

Also, this is merely a simulacrum. The real Zale is currently vacating this multiverse.

Obviously, Aurum is supposed to be the fear of gods, so I wanna see what she can do.

Maybe make fun of Zeus' beard and survive?

Or steal something from Kali Ma, destroyer of worlds?

Or kick Hephaestus in his lame leg?

Or say she's prettier than Aphrodite?

Or kill the Penultimate with a blink?

C'mon, what's she got up her sleeve?

Aurum can annihilate with a flick of her wrist a pantheon of gods. Plus the aura she gives off when she teleports is highly intimidating.

The Drym is the elemental of gravity, energy, etc. She's not older than gravity and energy.
