Brutus recoils, but only in annoyance. Elemental attacks were getting on his nerves.
As the ice shards hit him, the broken ice pieces clatter to the ground like glass. And the ground sheathes the ice pieces in earth.
Matsuri looked down...was he for real???
Brutus gave a quick stomp, and a pillar of earth arose from the ground to uppercut Matsuri. Seeing her sailing backward, he ran to the place where the ice combined with the earth, and threw the earthen hilt of his broken sword down.
The pieces magnetized to one another...and coalesced into the replacement blade. When the sword finished repairing itself, it arose, levitating up to Brutus' hand. And when he grabbed it, the blade burst into flame. The earthen hilt, a mix or rock and metal, trembled in his hand, as power from the plant kingdom contributed its blessing at last. From top to bottom, the blade sprouted inch-long thorns, smelling strongly of
moly.
