To my ears, it sounds like a fairly normal American English accent.

Certainly not, at least, from the south.

I'm terrible at American Accents because they all sound fairly similar to me.

Probably because I am American.

Let's see if anyone else has any ideas.

We do have a noticeable lack of females here. I'm in the process of bringing a friend (who goes by the name of TheManiak on the main site) to the forums. By default, she is under my full protection in NB and related threads (at least until she collects a suitable array of powers, such as those we all had to start with) and any found taking advantage of her low number of powers shall incur my wrath.

This is one way to be safe in NB; get the protection of a powerful member.
