Yeah, I can somewhat empathize, what with the hurricanes and stuff we get here, but still, that's terrible. But at least the reports say that there were no fatalities.

As far I can tell, yeah. It's just a really freaky thing to have a barrage of golf ball sized hail rain down on you with no warning...during a tornado watch......in the springtime........in Texas......on a Tuesday. Actually that last part about tuesday had nothing to do with it, but still......

Yes, but I'd rather be injured than killed anyday.

I don't mean to make that sound insensitive or devoid of sympathy...I guess, I'd just prefer to be optimistic about the situation.

Things can be replaced and repaired; you guys matter first and foremost.

I'm lucky, we don't have tornadoes in Australia. We may have poison dart-shooting snails, napalm trees, palm-sized spiders living unnoticed in homes (even in plain sight), bird-eating spiders, the three most deadly snakes in the world and many other horrors, but we lack tornadoes.
