Nah, I have to run around making chicken and stocking things and cleaning things.
Not mind-numbing. More like rapid-fire panic. It may become mind-numbing once I get a feel for everything I'm supposed to be doing.

I'm applying to somewhere probably less hectic, but at least not food related. As much as I want a job, I don't do food.
I can't even cook for myself; why would I want to risk life and limb over an unsafe grill/griddle/grease vat/whatever to make something for somebody else? And to not even be appreciated for it? Ugh, pass.

The kitchen is my friend and has not harmed me.

Glad to hear it. Hope that doesn't soon change, but as we all know, the kitchen be a fickle mistress.

No worries. I have a place in mind. I've already applied, and I plan on stopping by to hopefully get a word with the manager soon. If all goes well, I won't be unemployed much longer.
I could use some prayer from all the believers here.

The song was custom created by a sound guy working on our team. Download Link
The premise was that you were this orc tribesman who has climbed a mountain and obtained the sacred power at the top. This awakens a mountain spirit that uses the force of nature against you to keep you from getting off the mountain and escaping with the power (The reason why the mountain is deformed into the stages you go through).
Romans 8:31 What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us?
1 Corinthians 13:1-3 If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing. |

Hey, folks, I know you guys must get tired of me constantly getting new ideas to rearrange, reorganize and otherwise change the Forum.
Still, I think I have an idea for some things that are missing here, that really should be added here. 1. A folder and/or thread for Fanfiction. It's inviting to folks looking to express themselves (potential new users, and potential good talent, for those of us with actual interest in reading what they write) 2. A thread discussing various superpowered fandoms (one for Harry Potter, one for Percy Jackson, one for Doctor Who, etc...we already have a couple like that, ie Zale's Avatar thread, the Homestuck thread, and the Manga/Anime thread) 3. Perhaps try again to revive the Marvelous Miscreant Multiverse Forum? This one, Marv, you might not want to try, I know, but if so, I'd be willing to help out. I think that Forum has a fairly different purpose from the SPL Forum, so perhaps you could cater to an audience with a different interest. I'm not jumping the gun and getting ahead of myself, posting any new thread, or rearranging any current threads. I just want to know what you guys think. I think it could work to better present our purpose to outsiders-looking-in as bringers of all sorts of fandom-pleasing happiness. You want Doctor Who? We got Doctor Who. You want InuYasha? We got InuYasha? Pokemon? Sonic the Hedgehog? Batman? Superman? Spider-Man? Iron Man? Got it. Got it. Got it. The Forum should really be just as obviously diverse as the List itself.

1. I probably wouldn't use it myself, and I'm not sure who else on here would, but I do see your point in that some new users might like the idea. Maybe just start with a thread where people can drop off posts or links and it can evolve from there.
2. If we have enough interesting things that we want to say about it then the threads will get created on their own, no need to set them up in advance. 3. Ask Marv

Ah, no offense to Marv, but what can be done on that forum that would not be equally doable here?
I mean, two separate forums with the exact same community will never last that long. I go to various forums because various forums have different people I speak with. Going from one forum to the next just to speak with the same people seems.. odd?

Well, it's really only if Marv wants to do that, in which case, it'd be for newcomer users, not for us, really, other than dropping by as we see fit.

Sounds fun, I should really get around to going to one of those one year.
