They need to escape before the memory becomes too corrupt and they succumb to the nightmare, if they fail the snorkel giants will come through a portal from the dream world and kidnap their psyches, leaving the body a husk.
So, would it be theoretically possible for a god to insert their own memories into the crystal to assist them?

 Sounds almost exactly like them.

And precisely what ideas did you have in mind?

The idea of having a material that changes properties based on what you convince it to have it amazingly interesting.

There was also the portal to the afterlife that someone dragged a boat, of all things, through. It was a kind of demi-dimension that was nothing but red pseudo-water in every direction.

Could make an interesting plane. One with nothing but strange and breathable water in every direction, people drifting and swimming through it.

There was some other things, but it's been awhile..

The second thing sounds like Charon.

Vault@: I can control the enemies. If you wish, but for the sake of the, it may be best for you to control the scenario until the divine sevitors come into play. I will handle the slow cuurrption until then as well.

ZALE@: If you were to kill a god the world should still be ion a safe state if you do were in some way able to take their powe. As for the soil burner, it's actually quite similiar to the thing that you described, but its main intention is an energy funnel.

As for a god helping, I would suppose not,  unless they were allowed to by a god o.f chaos, which is one of the reasons I left grace behind

I was thinking of a certain old goddess with lots of memories who already made an attack on the crystal.

If you want, it could also trigger a return of her memories as well.

Waverider's not old.

Really, this is pretty much her first world.

Yes, let's go with that.

She's still missing memories of when she first attempted to go against Gilgamesh.

Perhaps there should be some segway for her to long for the ocean, and then run into the beings that used to be her servitors, and then return to the sea, and then have her regain her memories. Because technically, at this time, she IS still gaining motes...

If she didn't have persmission from a chaos god she shouldn't have been able to but whatever, it might be better than having muffin come in anyway.
