Mina arrives from the side with both Hearts out and hammers the Monsterking downwards with gravity and upwards with magnetic fields as Kyuuketsu moves behind him to impale from behind with Akatonbo.

It was Beautiful. It was Intoxicating. It was Horrible. It was Sickening. It was everything he thought it would be and more.
Power. Pure, Power. The Power to change things. To change.....anything. "Heh.....heh heh heh.....ha....ha ha.....Ah ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!" Aox laughed. He was drunk on the power the staff poured into him and it gripped his mind. The power played with his thoughts. "Ah ha ha ha......ah.....a....a test! Yes, a test of this power." Aox snapped around to face the chaos of battle nearby. His now wide eyes locked onto a creature. He didn't care what it was. It didn't matter now. It was simply a target. He raised his metal hand and splayed his fingers in one quick motion. There was a brief twinge of ozone and a bolt of lightning leaped from his fingertips to impale the creature through the heart. Residual static crackled and chirped as it jumped across the metal surface of Aox's hand. Aox regarded it with amusement. Now he could be a hero. Now he could do his people proud. "...And for my first heroic act," Aox began as he turned his head towards where Pantheos and the Monster King Clashed, "will be remembered for generations. AH HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!" With a mighty leap that cracked the ground Aox launched himself into the air and took flight towards the fight, staff gripped tightly in his good hand.

(Yes. He's normal sized, but stronger and smarter than the dragon)
The monster-king vanished, allowing to blade to thrust towards Mina's Domain. Silently, the God reappeared behind Pantheo.

"...And he has a sword that drinks divine energy."
Amid Brother eyes starfall, The Watcher conversed with it's employer. "Like the Dragons?" asked the Watchman. "Not at all. The sword looks to get more powerful the more divine energy it sucks up." "Well, that shouldn't be to difficult. We just have to find some way to stop him without a direct confrontation." "Well sir, your going to have to get in line behind Gilgamesh." The world screeched to a halt around the Watchman. "He said to let you know." ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Brother Eye shrank out of the sky above the island, down to the point where the Goddesses had last seen the Watchman. Then something, a grey streak, shot off the island at all speed. A Watcher appeared before the Zaya and Uburra-Namall a moment later. "The Watchman sends his apologies, but he can't stay because, I quote, 'that fight happy moron is going to get us all killed.'" -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Watchman had moved quickly when he had dealt with the Dragon. Now, propelled along by the output of Brother Eye, now a pattern glowing on his cloak, he flew even faster. He didn't know what he was going to do when he got there. He couldn't stop Gilgamesh with Reason or Power. He had been outclassed in every way that day on Gilgameshs island. But he was driven onward by his domain, that cursed thing at his core. That idea that was him. He might, at least, be able t mitigate the damage. He was to late, and saw on the border of Mina's land. The fool was crossing blades with the Monster King. He really did look like Mik, it was odd. He was like one of the clones. And there was something else that added to his feeling of unease, something in the sword. Something familiar. The revelation hit him harder than anything else. That was his. That weapon gave off his divine signature. There was only one way he could have gotten that. Everything went red. Brother Eye flashed from his back before his outstretched hand. It glowed, and with a blink emitted it's dived payload. The beam split around Gilgamesh and avoided the Monster Kings sword top slam his unprotected areas.

"Wait, wait, wait...." Sonia's voice demanded from Crav's mouth, "you can't just walk up there. You need a grand entrance to impress your lady friend."
"I already told you she's not..." "For the love of the Omni, I'm in your head! I KNOW what you're thinking....by the way....ewwwww. But more importantly, you want to impress her and I'm going to help you make a grand entrance whether you want me two or not. " "I'm riding in a top a massive creature of stone! What more can I do?" "Watch and learn old man!" Crav's right arm began to reach out involuntarily. "Are you controlling my hand?" With a flick of the wrist, a bolt of divine power curled out and rocketed its way around to the back of the colossus. "How.....no.....What, did you just do?" "Don't worry about it. It's gonna be great. Also.....THINK FAST!" Crav proceeded to slap himself across the face with his right hand. "Ow! You little...." "This is embarrassing to listen to...." Von Trapt sighed. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The ground shuddered as the Colossus approached the spot where Uburra-Namall, Zaya and The Watcher had gathered with several others. Standing proudly atop the Colossus' head Crav was striking what could be a heroic pose. Suddenly he snapped with his right hand and a brilliant explosion of rainbow light burst across the sky behind him in a beautiful (and rather necessary) display. (Told you it would be great!)

The spray of laser and force of gravity compounded to leave the MonsterKing looking quite scorched.
Tsking quietly, he snapped his fingers. Black blood snapped upwards to surround him, simultaneously firing off jagged crystals of solidified blood towards the watchman and Mina's gods. As the blood around him parted, it revealed a now healed God. "Try again."

Ignoring the ostentatious display, Zaya turned her head towards the Watcher.
Was there anything... else? That earlier premonition still nagged at her.

Far below them, in the depths of the northern sea, A bubble was drifting towards the original spot Waverider had entered this world.
All around her, the sea calmed. A small horde of animals of all kinds crowded around, seeking shelter in the safe umbra of her wake. Where are they..

Aox was a blur of speed. A rapid smudge against a greying backdrop. He didn't have time to stop. Momentum carried him fist first into the Monster King.
There was a small pop, followed by the roar of a sonic boom. Aox Spiraled away from the force of his own punch and stopped himself a few yards away, hanging upside down in the air. "WHAT A RUSH!"

The Watchman spread his fingers and Brother Eye Grew until it was as big as him. A spark leapt between him and the Artifact, and the resulting blast completely enveloped the blood crystal, dissipating into every direction as it slammed into Mina's wall.
How could he have gotten so strong? ------------------------------------------------------- "Well, there was this one thing." the watched shared with Zaya. "Only noticed it in passing, cause it seemed odd. There was a Durhian in the Demon lands, fighting against the blood stuff that was taking over. The Watchdog that was with me seemed kind of agitated about him, it kept pointing and pinging. At first I only thought it was because he had this stick, see, but they don't really do dog stuff and they don't have mouths besides."

The MonsterKing was knocked from the sky, shooting into the nearby ocean with such force a large tsunami erupted outwards.
He burrowed right into the deep muddy floor of the sea. This was, of course, very near Waverider. YOU! Another huge spiraling column of water appeared as the very sea spat him out at high speed, causing him to rocket off of Mina's Barrier and sputter to a halt. Looking very unsteady, the God glanced around. Outnumbered and outgunned. So, he snapped his fingers once. The Moon had not been the only place his little servitors had burrowed. For miles and miles around, permeated within the earth below their feet, servitors exploded. The shockwave rippled upwards, striking with the force of a titan, as the Monster King rippled like an mirage and vanished. Several miles away, he admired the explosion from atop the Demonwall. His sword began to devour the artifact's power as his heavy wounds attempted to mend.

A.. stick.. Oh for the love of all that is good I hope it's no-
A rumble shook the ground. Far off the in the distance, fire blossomed on the horizon. The air around Zaya exploded as she took off on her horse, burning through the air like a comet for the West.

Near where she had leapt off, a haggard looking giant vulture carrying an old hag sputtered to a stop.
Wheezing and gasping, they both glanced around. "Alright, I'm here. Now wher-" Glancing around, then at the sparkle in the distance, the Hag sighed. "I ain't getting back on anytime soon."

The explosion tore through Aox. He could feel the heat scorch his skin and boil his bones. He felt the pain rip through every nerve only to be burned away. He was being torn apart by the explosion.
But he didn;t die. The power of the staff held him together. It pushed the flames back and healed his skin, but it didn't stop there. It kept pushing outwards, forcing the flames away from Aox in a sphere of raging embers and roaring fire. Aox's skin steamed as the last of the burns healed over. "YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHhhhhhhhhhh!" Aox shouted in delight of this power.

(Really? Attacking the goddess of blood with blood? Isn't that pointless?)
Kyuuketsu stops the blood with the black blood surrounding her leader's lands. If they were going to attack Mina's lands with Kyuuketsu's domain, they'd better be ready for the results. The best part for Kyuuketsu though was that the blood dampened the explosion. It still blasted her a few miles into Mina's lands, but it was dampened. ========================== Mina dodges as many crystals as she can, while simultaneously preventing attacks from reaching her with a magnetic barrier, the only thing that saved her from radiation when the explosion occured below her. Knocked high into the sky, she slows and stops several miles up before flying back down into her lands to get a grasp of the situation at hand.

Uburra-Namall nodded. She could understand, as her divine compatriots headed off. After all, neither her island nor her people were nearly the only one under attack. And so, she and her thinkers headed into the Centaur village, under protection from the godstorm, to where Harkan had set aside the beginnings of a laboratory. With knowledge of quantum physics or retroviruses on their side, their hope for a cure would not come easy.
Especially not with all the explosions that seemed hell-bent on shaking the Fair Goddess and her people and her pantheon from accomplishing anything. She put up hands to fortify the place where they would work. Work would have to be double-time, if they hoped to get anything useful done.

This was his fight. Yet so many Spirits had come to intrude on his battle. Another blade forms in his upper left hand. His eyes glow red and he roars. Before, he had pushed Heroism out into the world, leaving only Power and Conflict within to fuel his might. With his roar, he releases Conflict out into the world as well, sending the remaining survivors into a frenzy against each other (Curse x6).
He focused on the pure raw power within him, letting it drive his actions. His muscles bulged and flesh ripped. The remain patches of armor cracked apart. He would break his foe with his power, even if it was more than one body could manage. Then the world blew up below him.
Romans 8:31 What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us?
1 Corinthians 13:1-3 If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing. |
In the cave, on the island of Uburra-Namall, something strange began to occur.
The Boquabians there, huddled in the soft light, began to feel it first. They recognized it right away: that stage rage they had felt before, only deeper and more hateful. They resisted, tried to shake it off, but once the first succumbed and threw herself at at the boy next to her, only a child, bearing teeth and claw at him.... There was no going back. The screams that came from them were more intense than any of the goblins, and set of the Vandals. Those standing behind their sisters charged back into the building fray, eager to take part in the carnage, swinging weapons and spitting poison or chemical fire. The Vandal line broke as the sisters charged forward in their bloodlust and were swarmed over by the things waiting in the dark, which charged into the lightly lit cave with impunity. The cave became a charnal house and a torture cellar, and the scent of blood hung heavy in the air. ----------------------------------------------------------- The same could be said of the crystal dome, as huddled survivors turned and ripped at one another as hungry beast do. The Crone looked over it all, and gave the order quickly for what should be done. The Grey watchers descended, scooping people up into themselves even as the unlucky cloaks were caught and torn to shreds. The Veterans Army turned on itself, spreading out in a frenzy of killing. Withing Spectropolis he could not strike them all into unconsciousness. He did what he could, clubbing the people (tourists really, people who had come to have a vacation, a good time with their family) over the head. He didn't know if they lived. There was no gentle way to knock someone out. Around Hazet Junior the student of Pitching engaged in a rubbish fight. Effects lit the air: fire, light, energy, sound. People burned, or fell jerking and smoking, or simply exploded into red bits. Ropes flew as Witnesses took control, tying the maddened populace down and binding them. But they could not fight the people and the monsters at the same time. Those they tied were inevitable killed by the goblins or, more horribly, their old comrades. --------------------------------------------- On Zaya's five islands the effects were mitigated someone, as the Army of Jan swarmed across the island beating and carrying away the Fish people who went crazy. The Hags were a different story. Their Dark magics insured that they could not be held, and so were more often left were they fell. Easy meals for the maddened fish. The Babysitter stood before the cave, Zaya's cave, while the depleted army brought the bound fish and piled them on the floor as she instructed. Water flooded the floor of it, allowing them to breath as they liked. She had summoned it up for them. In front of the cave, the bodies sat, charred and emaciated. The results of the last hag that had woken up. Now she stood before the remaining ones, the ones the Army had brought before she realized how dangerous they were, in case they awoke. And she wondered why everyone had left her alone. -------------------------------------------- And the Watchman didn't know. He'd felt the wave, right before the explosion, that Gilgamesh had given off. It tasted of his divine power. The Watchman knew how that tasted, remembering Gil's big attack that had thrown Hazet and Waverider. But that didn't matter, because something had thrown the Monster King. Something Gilgamesh hadn't been able to do, and he swooped down to look for it. In the Crater. He saw it. It would have brought such a smile to his face if he had had one. "You." he said, looking the Durhian up and down. "You're a mortal. The one from the tournament: Aox."

Pantheo burst from the falling debris. His flesh was charred and his armor had stopped trying to repair itself. He rushed for the Monster King, not caring if any other Spirit was in his way in his maddening assault.

Illusia attempted to knock out as many people as possible by having them run into walls with ordinary magical illusions, but their were too many for her to keep track of and she almost couldn't take it seeing all the deaths.
========================== Brynhildr rips into as many centaur she'd hidden from the monsters as she can, not caring they'd helped her or that they were helpless before her illusion of invisibility, carving out their hearts and reveling in its taste. ========================== Mina's lands, isolated from foreign divine powers by her Law, feels less of the brunt of the release of Conflict, for even damaged the Law's components can still absorb most of the divine power released in the direction of Mina's lands by Pantheo allowing the mortals and goddesses of Mina's lands to check for wounded and clean up devestation from the blast.
