As the Boquabians came back to themselves, they looked around. They didn't even remember which they had fought as foes, or fought alongside as friends.

But before the fight broke out? They would never forget the squabble that had broken out before the riot.

Draias and Kotu looked out to them, and caught their attention. The investigator's expression softened; somehow, he had expected it would all come to this.

"Listen to me, fellow Boquabians." He said, his heart suddenly growing a bit heavy, "It is more than apparent, after the events that just transpired, that all Boquabians cannot get along in the same society. At least not at this moment. No...we have been divided far too easily, and so I believe it is best that we should part ways."

"Finally!" Kotu blurted, growing bothered again, "It's about blessed time that you started making any sense. We won't tolerate the likes of you and your kind in our midst, so I'm sorry to say, but you won't be missed."

"BUT..." Draias put up a hand, before the crowd got riled again, "I doubt that we will part alone. You see, I noticed that, before our outbreak of violence, there were some who believed as we believed. Some supported our cause. And apparently, were willing to fight for them, tooth and nail. It is for this purpose that I offer others the opportunity to follow us to discover a new home."

A voice spoke up out of the crowd, "But...but where will we go?"

It did not matter, Draias reasoned. It mattered only that they acknowledged the source of their blessings...the reason for their praise. If they only kept the Fair One in mind, love and beauty would surely follow. The Elders scoffed at the sentiment, but no sooner than Draias finished his thought aloud, did a small murmur outbreak among the crowd. Voices stirred the group to part numerous times, for folks to make way to the stage.

Five very familiar-looking girls clung to Fandas affectionately. Parents of a young green infant made their way to Draias' side. A few others came up, and when there seemed no more room for people to stand, there came burlier Boquabians to grab Draias and his allies up (even the Vandals!), and carry them off cheerfully into the crowd, holding them up like the champions they were. They had won the strangest and shortest battle ever held, and their victory stuck with some in the crowd.

Kotu noticed, and sharply broke the growing cheer surrounding Draias' band; broke the happy, relieved dissent that it all implied.

"ALL RIGHT! All right! We see your happy display. We know your feelings now! You have made your blasphemy known! So, tell me, fellow Boquabians! ...Does anyone else desire to break the laws of the Fair One? Does anyone else desire to know what life is like outside of Uburra-Namall's grace??? Does anyone else think me a charlatan...a deceiver...an oppressor...a tyrant?"

He waited...and his voice moved yet more to Draias' side. Certainly there was no desire to disobey or displease the Fair Goddess, no desire to mock her ordinance; not even Draias' group wanted that. And so, to imply that any who followed them were also heretics...anathema, even? Ludicrous. No other reason existed for their departure than the fact that Kotu was looking more and more, by the second, like an egomaniacal madman.

He watched his girls being carried off, swelling with pride. Literally, for he was a tree-frog.

In The Vets view, you could only learn so much from training. Sometimes you just had to have a little practical experience, a little time away from teacher to learn how to walk on your own. He had meant to come back immediately, but he'd caught a whiff of a familiar scent. Revolution!

So, he had held back, had watched and seen how they reacted, if any would distinguish themselves. He was honestly happy for that little scuffle that had broken out. It made for a good test, and let him see how some of them reacted under pressure. What he had seen was very promising.

He wondered if he should show himself, but dismissed it. After all, it wasn't every day you got carried through the streets.

Draias' crowd reached the edge of the village, where they could no longer look back and see their former Elders or their villager counterparts. And as the crowd set Draias and his comrades down, the cheer diminished. It waned from from the pleasantry of celebration to the murmuring more-than-silence of growing anxiety and worry.

Where did Draias plan on going from here?

Before anyone got the chance to ask the question, Draias turned to Linessa and Rox, and simultaneously, they spoke the thought aloud: The Land of the Elves.

"No, they say they come from some other world. Apparently there was a lot activity on the Island of the love goddess, at least enough to catch the attention of my agents there. These people were only part of it. Some of yours, some of Mina's, some of mine. Perhaps it's the beauty of that land that draws them so."

"As for business, I just wanted to meet and welcome them."

"Hello, Gilgo-whatsit." Said Tez cheerfully, slumping down in his chair, while his brother examined the new-comer closely. This Gilgamesh looked like trouble to him.

"We're searching for the goddess Zaya." Gant announced, not deigning to respond to Gilgamesh.
“She'd become a governess. It was one of the few jobs a known lady could do. And she'd taken to it well. She'd sworn that if she did indeed ever find herself dancing on rooftops with chimney sweeps she'd beat herself to death with her own umbrella.”

Memories began to flicker into being, and the world around them changed. The dusty redness of the ground began to grow darker, richer. Rain fell.

Strange purple plants grew all around them, exploding outwards in a wave of new life. Unidentifiable animal cries echoed around the brush. A brightly colored creature with a serpentine body and brilliant insect wings darted past, fleeing some deep rumbling sound.

Zaya stood, walking slowly towards the sound.

The Watchman

"Now, there's something I can help you with," he perks up. "We've met. She tricked me into toppling an kingdom. Well, more like she set it up so that I had no choice BUT to topple a kingdom. Last I saw her, she was here..."

"Hello!" He shouts at the air. "I know one of you must be listening."

A grey shape detaches itself from the air and floats down. He turns to it. "Search the city for Zaya. She'll probably be wearing a BIG hat." The watcher nods and shoots out the door.

30 minuets of idle conversation and long, awkward pauses later the Watcher returns.

"Sir, she's nowhere in the city, and I had everyone searching. The Witnesses in particular haven't seen her since yesterday."

"Yesterday is when we had that... spot of bother."

"Yes sir."

The Watchman steeples his fingers, and bows his head in thought. That was worrying. He looks back up at Gant. "She lives right near here, on an island directly North of here. We should check there first."

The Babysitter

She turned, marveling at the strange things around her. She followed, as she was bid. She had a feeling that this wasn't anything she wanted to see. But this was one person that she definitely would not abandon.

The journey to Elfin land was not promised to be easy, by either Draias, or the Fair Goddess he answered to. There would be no luxury. There would be no resource which they could not gather for themselves. There would be little comfort, and little privacy. Perhaps worst of all, though, no civilization lay to the north in between their old village and the land of the Elves. And many had seen what dangers could come about  in the wild. It was no place they wished to remain long.

Though, none of the self-exiled Boquabians could deny: at least the scenery wouldn't disappoint along the way.

"Aww. You guys are going to make me carry the cow again." Tez said, sinking dejectedly while Gant glared daggers at him again.

"My brother and I will provide transport. When shall we leave?" Dez asked tapping the arm of his chair absently, wholly ignoring Gant and his brother.

Gilgamesh rises up and stretches his muscles. "This should interesting" he speaks.

As he walks past the Watchman, towards the others gathered, he says "Remember, we only have until morning Watchman."

Motes Left 10

Divine Energy sweeps across Gilgamesh's lands and the world is terraformed in its wake.

Anima, the aspect of Power, stands in the sky above the growing kingdom, the Astral Tether clutched in his automaton's hands. The chain extending from the Astral Tether's claw reaches into the sky before disappearing into the unknown to pull more of the Plane of the Kingdom into the material world.

The red crystal mountain, home of the arcane Shardmind, grows into a high and mighty Mage's Tower. The Divine Artifacts that had been guarded within for so long, sink into the ground as the mountain changes. They sink down into the heart of the continent, into a Treasury created to protect them. Below the rest of the kingdom, as well as the Treasury, grows the Dungeon, which stretches out to all corners of the kingdom and into unknown depths below (-18 motes, Artifact x3)

Uburra-Namall turned from her sister, and faced the arriving Crav; she could easily read his intentions, and found herself pleased by his approach.

"Ah, yes...Greetings, Crafty One. Pray, tell...what is this gift that you bring me?"

"I present these to you as a token of my feelings. Feeling I have recently come to grips with."

He held up a bouquet of what looked like flowers. But these were no ordinary flowers, each had been meticulously carved from thousands of tiny shards of precious gems and stung together with magic threads and bindings. The effect of which were flowers that sparkled, gleams and twinkled with each subtle movement. each one was a brilliant light on its own and together they were like to a grouping of stars.

"Please, receive them as a gift."

The goddess was shocked, stunned, utterly gobsmacked as she stared upon the lovely creations of the rough and craggy craftsman god. She was afraid, at first, even to receive them, for fear of dropping them and ruining the heartfelt surprise Crav had made for her.

But after a second of admiring them from afar, she decided she couldn't resist anymore. She absolutely had to touch them. Hold them, admire them, inspect every inch of their flawless radiance for herself.

"It...I...they're astonishing." Uburra-Namall blinked, "And...and I evoked the feelings that drove you to make these?"

She blushed, looking the flowers over a bit longer, before looking up again, and meeting glances with Crav.
